TIMING: Forsythias and Lawns??

Forsythia blooms are related to soil temperature, and so is crabgrass germination. Therefore, you want to time your crabgrass herbicide application (pre-emergent weed control) to just before the Forsythia blossoms fall off those shrubs. Yes, they are blooming early again this year!
