I always assume the majority of funny stories that celebrities tell on these these late night shows are embellished for entertainment. It's cool that there's a video basically confirming pretty much all of what she said was completely true.

lauren! you should've seen what my mom used to do to me in the shower. she'd always wait til my eyes were closed shampooing or whatever, GOD knows how she'd know it, but sometimes she'd reach in real stealthily and jack the water all the way to cold and i wouldn't notice til i was shrieking in the freezing water, or she'd fill up a bucket of cold water and dump it over the top, or worst of all, sometimes she'd grab me through the shower curtain in the grossest and most unexpected of slimy hugs..... and her favorite holiday is april fool's..... the elaborate pranks she used to set up for me and my siblings, i swear to god.....

Americans...(well some..)At 12 I had to babysit my lil sisters and comb their (diffcult)hair into a weird hairdue and clean the house. Being alone at 12 was my idea of heaven back then.Wtf.
And in other parts of the world at 12 kids are already working steady jobs to support their fam..or survive war etc.
