I love your songs, I discovered them over 30 years ago through a "snowboard video, VHS" and bought my first CD ever. Your songs are among my absolute favorites. Greetings from the alps/austria (europe)!!! ✨🦍
So great! RIP O... This song was the sound track of my life in 94-95 living in Mammoth and snowboarding everyday with my best friends. I didn't know who sang this song until I went to the Warp tour and actually met O. Meeting your hero often underwhelms... not this time! Thank you fluf for such memories.
God bless O. Such good times back when Fluf formed with Miles and Jonny. Surfing with Jynx and Christian in Newport, waking up in the morning to find O on our couch (he had couch privilege all over SoCal), meals at Souplantation and Mother’s Market, sitting in on Fluf recordings and watching O try all kinds of cool stuff, all the OC and SD shows, KUCI visits. O touched so many lives and I am grateful for knowing him. Don't be sad, go listen to a Fluf 7 inch.
It is weird how music can take a person back. In '93 I was a freshman at the Univ. of Colorado. A school I picked for one reason. Access to snowboarding. We listened to tons of music then, but when I hear this song it sticks out from that time. Great times and great music!
Man.....saw these guys at the (now-defunct) Icehouse in Fullerton, CA when I was in high school (~93-94). My best friend and I ran concert promotion on the school grounds in order to get free all-ages shows there and were HUGE followers of this band in particular. When I finally got to meet them for the first time, they were straight up awesome from the jump! O even gave me a free hot dog since I didn't eat dinner. Needless to say, they crushed onstage.... Glad to see they still got it =)....never quit guys, never quit.
Joined a band at 17 who were made up by 21 year olds which was a big thing (a least for me). They obviously thought that my musical schooling could be improved (I was all about Lookout, Fat and Epitaph bands) so they snuck me mix tapes, one of them included this song and to this day (25 years later), it remains one of my favorite songs of all time. RIP O.
