Thinking about getting these in my band. We play the usual weddings pubs clubs etc anything from 50 to 1000 people but usually around 100 on average. Would you recommend these for that setup? We play all eras and are eclectic in our gigs depending on what we are required to cater for from classic rock to harder up tempo foo fighters type of sounds or quieter softer wedding stuff. Would you say these are better than the Trusonic 2 alto speakers? Also what subs would you recommend with them? The big FBT subs are too heavy and bulky and a bit pricey. Thanks in advance and this was a great Demo. Thanks
Until 250 people it's perfect in combination with the XSUB18SA for the reproduction of the low-end frequencies. For bigger events we would suggest PROMAXX14A and SUBLINE18SA.
Hi XLR!Help me choose between X Lite-10 a vs X Lite-12a.I already have two 15" rcf 715 mk2 700w RMS speakers. The RCF 15" have good "bass"response. We have small band(keyboard arranger, acordion,,saxophone and Vocal) singing etno, pop, ballad music on weddings from small 70-80 to max up 200-250 pers.I need vocal and instruments+keyboard inteligibility in sound.?!?I don t need boomy sound in my mix..I need mid and high clarity and good dispersion for indoor aplications!I"ts big difference in "bass" response between X Lite-10 a vs X Lite-12a and what is the RMS power of X-LITE?Please take in consideration in the future i will buy two subwoofers to complete the sub frecv ranges when we sing in big rooms or outdoor stage!!Tx!
Thank you for your request X-LITE 10A and X-LITE 12A are perfect for your application. X-LITE 10A will certainly do the job, will be cheaper, lighter and smaller. So we would go for it.
You are claiming that 6.3 mm jack input doesn´t have volume control, but FBT user manual claims that both RCA and Jack inputs (Stereo 1 and Stereo 2) go through Volume pot (Quotation: "Stereo section - IN 1 (jack) and IN 2 (RCA)......LEV potentiometer adjust the level on both inputs 1 and 2"...end of quot.) How is it in reality?
I have the 15A, i got them 2 days ago. Something i noticed is that they get hot without using them, i turn on the switch on and in 10 minutes they are hot.....the 12A acts the same ?
They can become warm when turning on, but not that hot that you're not able to hold your hand on it. In that case, there might be a problem with the internal DSP which you should get replaced.
We have a lot of happy customers using it on the road.
Which is louder? This or RCF ART 712? Assuming using it with a subwoofer.

RCA and Jack inputs have the same control.
But you should only use 1 at a time
