One of the best mashups I've ever heard (and I've heard a lot). Not only did you blend them perfectly, even with Blue's awkward melodies, but the effort for that rhyme (of think/ink) really takes it above and beyond.
I gotta gush. I'm Blue was always a gimmicky 90's europop song with a barely-present through-line, but this mashup makes it whole. I'm Blue's lyrics have a context now and yeah, it's mostly borrowed from the Colors lyrics, but it tells this story about these two, sad people and their outlooks. Also, the parts where it switches between the verses, and the lyrics still rhyme, is genius. The only other way the stars could have aligned is if Halsey ended the song with how green wasn't the guy's colour. Either way, thanks for making it 5 minutes long, I get a lot out of each replay.
The songs giving meaning to each other wasn't even something I thought about while making the mashup (mostly because I wasn't really familiar with "Blue" at the time and didn't pay much attention to the lyrics) but it really makes sense. The few things I would change are probably some audio effects like delays and reverbs because now I know how to use those tools a lot better 😂
