You can comfortably reach in 10-12 hrs with decent cruising speed. Route is good condition and expect some patches & under construction once you enter MH and rest all okay till Aurangabad. I have done this route (Hyd-naldurg exit to thuljapur-Beed - Aurangabad expressway -Shirdi) couple of times with my spouse and parents and it was completely safe at midnight as well. Drive safe.

There were no potholes as such, but the road is not very smooth like Hyderabad to Bangalore highway. The right side of road is mostly got truck tires grooves where you need to hold your steering tight as the car might wooble. But driving on left side with approx 90kmph should me almost smooth ride
Yes, Aurangabad roads are good. Don't ever take to Ahmed Nagar to Shirdi Road. Samrudhi express way is good. On return I have taken the express way. I was in shirdi on 13 Aug to 14 Aug, 2023

We took Hyderabad - Naldurg - Beed - Aurangabad - Shirdi route. Last section from Aurangabad is on Samruddhi mahamarg expressway till Shirdi.
Expect very bad road until opposite of shirdi temple, except 70 km good patch of smrudhi highway
