Thank you... I always been looking for videos to fully explain the differences between the two. Now, my question has been answered thru this video.
Hiligaynon, (Illonggo) Sinogbuanon (Cebuano), Akyanon, Waray, etc.. are Languages in the Philippines, not to be confused as dialects.

Language and dialect we call it as one word “wika“.in Tagalog language.

Blame the Philippine educational system for spreading that misconception that only Filipino (Tagalog) and English are languages while the other native tongues in Philippines are called "dialects".

Aussie English is a dialect of British English. Mindanao Cebuano is a dialect of Sinugboanon. Higaonon Binukid, which my wife speaks, is a dialect of Manobo Binukid, which is a language. I understand that Higaonon is about 80% intelligible for the other Binukid speaking tribes. Mag Bisaya ako way problema. Konti lang ang aking Tagalog. Pwede ko mag greet sa Higaonon. Maayad tungkay Nate!

Bisaya in general and cebuano refers to bisayan speaker living in Cebu Maguindanaon Bisaya speaker and other region, Are not Cebuano its called Bisaya in General.
