Vespa PX Engine TUNING 🛵🔧 | Part 3 | Carburetor {English}

Why do some Vespa engines run better than others, even though the same components are installed? What do you have to watch out for when tuning your Vespa and which cogs can you turn to get a few more horsepower out of your scooter? All this we clarify in this series.

In episode 3 of this tuning series, Andre shows you the different types of carburetors and explains the easiest way to optimally adjust a carburetor using a flatslide carburetor from Dell'Orto. What is it about main jet, idle jet and emulsion tube? How do you adjust the idle speed on a Vespa? What is the needle for? We clarify all that in this episode. Once again, we're on the test bench and show you the various performance diagrams with different carburetor settings.

Great video, thank you very much. I have observed that in the computer you have a DQ265 atomizer but that belongs to a Vhsc and not to the Vhsh which is a DP but I imagine it is by default, I have also observed when you have changed the positions of the needle and I have seen that it had 5 positions when the K24 has 4, I understand or is it possible that it is a K28? Thank you so much. I have a configuration very similar to the scooter in that video. Thanks a million, I await your answer because I have doubts.

What carb kit do you suggest i should try on my 2002 PX 125cc it has a DR177 cc top end and a sip road 2, I also have a chrome sip left hand exit expansion type exhaust that I could use. My carb is all standard at the minute with auto lube deleted, I'm struggling for power and want to upgrade ASAP with the correct equipment!! Thankyou Andy CLOUD 9 SCOOTER CLUB BIRKENHEAD
