Way back, when I rented a house. People would ask me, "why are you putting money into changing things?" You don't own the house. Yes it is their house. But it is my home. I am so happy for Rili and your entire family. You must cry and cry with joy when you see your baby girl walking. God is so good. 🎉🙏 I love, as always, your haul. ❤ enjoy Sunday with your family. I think this little poem, usually said at Christmas, fits this occasion too. Sunday in Heaven, what do they do? They come down to Earth. To spend time with you. So save them a seat, just one empty chair. You may not see them. But they will be there. 😘 HUGS 🙏🌹🌼🌸

Also please don't fret about your "working hands", because we all know its hard, long and tedious work that you are doing once again. I moved to the upper west corner of SC last year & am enjoying it. My 2 daughters live in NC about 45 minutes away.
I am not understanding....if its going to be demolished...why move in and do all the work just to have it knocked down?

My favorite was the lemon, lemon lemon one. That little chest is so pretty. I’m glad it’s in your home where you can enjoy it.. The house is so cute. I bet it’s so glad that you’re going to make it look so beautiful. I love the brick walkway and the way you made it look inviting. all of my children live around me except for one my son Anthony that lives down in St. George, Utah. Well where does one begin first of all so nice to see you back. When you opened up with the front of your house and hosed it down and a beautiful walkway popped up I thought oh boy cottage the front porch had the appearance of one. The hauls that you showed us thus far, the dishes are absolutely gorgeous and the items you purchased from the French store are so unique I love them. The baskets the chest ( so adorable) and those candles they are different yet cottage looking. love them. Now I cannot wait until Sunday to see what you have in mind. So happy to see you again! That front area didn’t know the magic you can bring - it looks wonderful! I agree that power washing is relaxing and when you see the results from doing it, how rewarding and clean that job is! Any cleaning or working with my hands causes purple spots, ugh, from thrombocytopenia but I keep on!

Hi Bev... 8 years, this house was left alone. Wow. I have to believe that the owner isn't planning to demolish this year. That would put you in an uncomfortable position to move again. Then again, you never mentioned why. You needed to move from your house in Virginia. I guess it will be in your timing. Nevertheless, I am glad you're back. And hope you enjoy your stay in this house. I know this is a challenge . I know it will be a palace when you are in it.

Glad you are back! why would they tear down such a cute house? I don't know if I would put all that work into a house if I was just renting, I would be afraid to fall in love with it. How long will you be there? There is no telling what kind of creatures are living in and out of that house (I am a scaredy cat). I know you will transform it into a beautiful home. So happy you are back! I live in Wilmington, NC . You will have to come down to New River Pottery. They have made some changes and it is wonderful. I know in the past you said you had been to New River Pottery. Not sure if it was Wilmington or Greenville. You will enjoy it!
It’s actually fun and a lot of hard work to bring a house back to life. My husband and I bought 2 acres to build a home on not knowing there was a small cabin on it covered in kudzu. We decided to remodel it to live in before we built the house. We did most of it with a handsaw, hammer and nails before the electricity was installed. I built a wall of stacked stones in front of the old fireplace and we installed windows everywhere. It felt like we were living in a treehouse. We ended up trading it as a down payment on a recently built house. Several families rented it over the years and the people next door finally bought it. It’s still cute as a button and has quadrupled in value. Sometimes just takes a person with vision to make magic happen😌.

Hi Bev...you are fortunate to have Ryli as your daughter and in the same token having you as her mother. She seems to be the sweetest child.
