Congratulations, this is your reward for all the hardwork you put in. I am medical resident in Sudan currently aspiring to come to US in the near future. Thanks for your nice videos

My GOODNESS!! Thank you for your transparency doctor. I believe! THIS is one of the reasons that we have a "doctors shortage" in the U.S. AND, MD/DOs shouldn't get angry at PAs for so-called "stethoscope creep". 🙄🤦🏽‍♂️I believe this low scale needs to be addressed to encourage MORE people (especially high schoolers) to pursue MD/DOs. Hospital CEOs are PAID to keep cost down and make the stakeholders money, while still providing relatively high clinical outcomes. INCREASE the number of U.S. residency programs (especially primary care), PAY residents more, and decrease the LONG hours.🙂👋🏽👨🏽‍⚕️

med school is hard. going from making 200k/yr as a pharmd working crazy overtime during covid as a pharm manager with incentives. kinda jaded by residents telling me the compensation is increasing and is a lot more comfortable now. lol if you cant attack your loans your not well paid, its just 3+ years of charity. loans this year are 9.5-10.5% apr for med students. 10% interest on 300k debt (more accurate, closer to median debt after you get rid of all the people with no debt lowering the average so much), is 30k/year. so your networth delta as a resident is only +30k, hardly enough to live on if you were to just keep pace with the interest on your student loans as a resident.

Why not just practice in Texas and pay no tax etc? What you make it what you take home

Medicine everywhere in the world is so so annoying!!! So many sacrifices and we don't get paid well compared to others
