Apart from he that your books recommendation has helped me to further fill the gap in my Quant knowledge . Also it would be great if you can create an economical course ( it would be really tough for you to churn out time ) which can help community to learn from a practitioner . I was at a bank doing Market Risk, didn't like what I did as it was more qualitative than expected, resigned after 4 months and it was also my first job after undergrad, and am moving into Model Risk at another place! Your videos helped me alot! Hopefully Ill do a part-time masters in the future and perhaps move towards Quant Dev/Analytics! Just want to hear your thoughts on what you think Model Risk is really like?
@aaronliu5188 model risk varies a lot by firm. In general regulators tend to make the work more academic than other areas of finance. However if a firm is hiring undergrads they will most likely give you less quantitative work.
