When you look at his eyes and mannerisms in general you can tell he was a very intelligent thoughtful man. A legend.

His diaries were edited posthumously - and presented very well - by Chris Williams in 2012.
In my opinion, a better version - and a true biography - was written by Melvyn Bragg.
Try to get a copy of "Richard Burton - a Life" by Melvyn Bragg.
      Best wishes from Vermont ❄️

His diaries are fantastic . What a gorgeous human being likes that don’t exist anymore. He is so honest in this interview and yet so terrified. It’s a beautiful combination of emotion

For those who like the sound of his voice check out the Jeff Wayne's Musical The War of the Worlds ! as He Narrates the entire story it includes the British Singer David Essex ! it's about an Alien Invasion from beings from Planet Mars invading England ! based on Orson Welles radio drama ! based on a Novel by H G Wells ( No relation ). Best enjoyed on a dark stormy night lying peacefully in the dark wearing headphones with a steaming hot mug of Cocoa ( or any beverage of your choice ! ) r.i.p. Richard 😢❤🙏
