For a black or camo gun, this may be worth it. For one with a wood stock though - no way. The discount is not deep enough to risk the cosmetic appearance for. I would always pay the extra couple hundred to ensure you have one that is in new condition. (personally, I would have to be getting a 50%-60% discount to take that risk, unless you could examine it in advance, at least with pictures)
