Visiting two cats and a cute dog to keep them happy and entertained!

Saturday is going well! Surprisingly, neither Mouse nor Spike went to hide when they saw that Ben was with me. Lucky was happy to be petted and even happier to be served breakfast. Mouse was very confident around Ben and ate her chicken on the couch just like usual while Spike held firm in his spot behind the couch and bookcase. Lucky had energy for his walk but it petered out around the half hour mark. He seemed to really enjoy having Ben with us today and kept going over to be petted in between breaks to do some sniffing and marking. When we got back, Lucky went to lay down until he realized that we were going to eat food. Lucky put on his very best begging face and it was very hard to resist treating him! Instead I gave him the yak cheese puff that had been planned for his snuffle mat so he could enjoy it while we had breakfast. I then cleaned the litterboxes and changed waters while Ben loved on the babies. Mouse loved getting petted by us both while we sat on the couch, and Lucky watched the front yard while Spike puttered around the house. I washed the orange bowl's mat and Lucky's white blanket today and everything is looking good. It was a great visit with everyone seeming to be very comfortable with the change of routine today. Can hardly wait to be back at 8 tomorrow!
