    This helped me today, breathed through my mouth, 2x per stroke right from the start, even when I didn't feel like I needed that much air...pulled my fastest 2k today!

    @sSxtremeskillz you should be breathing twice per cycle. Inhale on the recovery, exhale at the peak of the catch, inhale as you begin your drive and exhale as you're about to extend your back. Remember breathing is about getting oxygen in the blood so you do it when it's most efficient in regards to your movements :)

    Just a note I want to make to some people: Don`t confuse this technique with rowing technique!!!

    " I Don't open my back until my legs are extended."
    Your back starts opening before your legs are fully extended... as it should.
    Stop the video at spots and watch during the openoing segment.
    If legs and back were totally separate movements there would be a gap in suspension on the oar handle. (idea)

    How high are your feet on the erg? how many holes are showing? you may have to lower them if they're too high .
