This is very true, every time I buy a gerbra in a nursery pot, they always die.. it must be the nursery pot soil. I'm going to re-pot every store bought plant, and make my own soil to grow my new plants :)
Hello Suraj ji, one issue I am able to see in case of my home garden... Very small spiders are binding up very thin nets from one branch of a plant to another branch of another plant.... Please note these are not mites... These are small spiders and are visible... Specially visible clearly in the early morning sunlight... These are harming my plants... I have used bio toxin tafgor neem oil etc chemical and organic pesticides... But these are not cured... Can you please let me know the remedy for this problem?? Thanks in advance...

Sir I'm also a gerbera lover,trying to revive a dying gerbera according to your guidelines. I've repotted it today itself and removed all the nursery soil replacing it with your suggested cocopeat&compost mix excluding perlite lets hope that it survives.
I wish he explained what he was doing when he was doing it. He cut the roots but didn’t show why and in another video he said not to cut gerbera roots bc they couldn’t handle it
He cut the dead roots.. dead roots if cut dont make any difference to plant. If you cut roots of a well being plant, the plant will die cuz of root stress. But in this case cutting the root was a good option, because after all the procedure new roots will develop and it will bloom. I hope i made sense :)
Gerbera is prone to fungal infection, soil and cow dung both can contain fungus, so he is taking Coco peat. If the compost is prepared in the best way then there should be less chances of fungal infection. Nevertheless, Gerberas are high maintenance plants. They need constant attention in pots. On a sunny stretch of soil, like on a field, lots of sunlight kills the germs, plus you don't have to apply fertilizer cow dung again and again so the chances of infection also go down. Hope this helps.
