Just wanted to mention the cable sliding catch has been removed from the lids due to a high failure rate when printing. The sections are too thin and prone to not coming apart once printed. If someone absolutely needs a lid with cable access then I will be able to achieve this using no moving parts, it will just be a part of the customisation of the lids for the number of cable access points you require.
These look great Scott, love the idea of the interchangable panels to suit the climate required in an enclosure 👍 Will be ordering a few once available.
Converted a couple of my exo's to perspex myself before, but these are pretty neat, and a great price too 😍. Might order a 30x30 soon to give it a try, but also wondering if larger ones will be available in the future, as I'd also be interested in a 45x45 and a 45x60 🤔. ( not sure if it is possible though at those sizes due to printer bed size / overall strength?)
Hi, yes it is possible to make lids for 45 x 45 and the 60 x 45cm enclosures. They have to be made in sections as you are correct in the printer bed is not big enough to do as one print.
There a really new company, so personally I think they will in the future, maybe they can print in 2 parts click together who knows but fingers crossed 🤞
