I wish this series would be covered a lot better here in Europe. I love the cars, tracks and overall atmosphere in the paddock
Too band we can't link our DVR's
You've always got VIPBox for streaming....
I want an Indycar World Championship or Indycar World Cup
@@kristoft51 The USA doesn't do very well when organising worldwide events! For that they have to acknowledge and work with the rest of the world - they are far too focused on themselves!
@YouFoundSharpe Official Toronto is not in the USA. I think you mean America/North America.
One hell of a bumpy race track.
That's what makes it great.
A two hour stint in a Champcar beats the crap out of you... but it’s awesome.
Testing at Sebring because of the bumps, and it is warm this time of year. Sebring will point out all of the weak points of any car. If it doesn’t break there, it likely will stand up to any other track. If it does break, than you will know what to fix/improve so it doesn’t break when the season starts.
It’s a great test track because it’s that much more physically demanding with the bumps
@@fordfocusonme wait I am confused. You mean what exactly
I love how flat they look compared to f1 cars, they look more like the 80s f1 cars.
It’s kind of funny because in the 80s Indycars looked like bulky F1 cars, especially that one year F1 didn’t have the airscoop on the rollbar. They had to be bigger because of the potential impact on ovals but now F1 cars are noticeable larger.
That's what he said
0:18 love how the cars "pump" on bumps
I like how you can really see the rear suspension working over bumps, you don’t really see it on TV all that much. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the footage! Its great to see IndyCar back on track.
Thanks for posting. Great to see the Indy cars on a road course. I wish they would make it back to Watkins Glen, but love to watch them on any of these other tracks.
Love the way indycar is raw compared to f1. Cars, tracks, sound, racing, everything. F1 is just business and politics.
F1 sounds much better, listen in person and you will know. The Formula 1 sound is unmatched, even the hybrids.
@@JotaV2502 finally somebody that recognises the truth of the current turbo hybrid era. They don't sound so great on TV but in person, they sound amazing. Not as loud as the NA predecessors, but still amazing when watched live and sound very close to the blown defusers from 2009-11.
@@arjun._.bbC6 Neither of you have heard indycars in person if you think F1 sounds better
@@arjun._.bbC6 Indycar sounds better in person. I heard them in Long Beach it was beautiful.
@@floppa933 wish I could hear them. Way too far.
Looking forward to the start of the season at Barber
Thanks LT. I know that spring is coming with these sounds from central Fla.
Love the quality of the camera and mic--Hearing them shifting in the distance,,,AHHHH!--That's Music baby!
Great footage as always
Thanks Dr.!
Thanks mate 👍👍👍
IRL slowly disappeared and returned to the CART era ...
O barulho dos motores dos carros da Indy me lembra o som dos motores da F1 da década de 80 e 90. Lindo som!
Engine sound great 👍
Proper old school racing. Its like 80s f1 - what we all miss.
Show de bola deu pra matar a saudade do carros
Great, all liveries are blue, black or white, now I can really tell them apart, except Dixon because he always has a livery that blends in
Thanks, Lanky Turtle!
Thanks for watching!
Lanky Turtle can you send me the video per mail ? Janentertainment124@gmail.com
Indycars sound so much better than F1
They don't have hybrid .. thats what makes the F1 quieter .. anyway you listen to an F1 at the track.. they sound similar to this.. but with way yyyy more power
No.
In F1 each engine manufacturer has its specific sound, in Indy they all sound the same. F1 sounds better because of variety of tones and intensity of sound of each team, you feel the power much better, even more with the wastegates opening. I went to Interlagos last year to watch the Brazilian GP (my home race) and honestly, sounds so much better than this Indy's monotonous sound. If you think Indy is powerful and "raw", try to see and hear an F1 Honda engine making nuclear sounds on deceleration at almost 300km/h in a corner. You'll forever change your mind that "F1 is business", just haters being haters...F1 is f*cking awesome and probably the best experience I've ever had in my life was watching cars pulling a force of 5G in a damn tight corner. Not to belittle Indy, but don't compare this to Formula 1, ever.
look more beatiful and more safe. F1 need this halo
Marcus looks faasssst
I didn't think I would like the aeroscreen. It's truly made the Indy cars so beautiful.
Christ those V6 sound downright aggressive, especially those Hondas
All Hondas sound agressive nowadays in open wheel racing. Super Formula, F1 and Indycar.
👍👍👍
Can’t wait to one day finally visit Sebring. Still a bucket list race track
That's how I am with Le Mans, Spa, Watkins Glen and Road America.
@@LankyTurtle same
@@LankyTurtleLeMans is on my bucket list too. tried to go a few years ago, hotels were all booked up from as far as 100 miles /12- 6 months before.
when was the last time indycars sounded good?
I am just here wondering how well my Mitsubishi mirage would've handled those corners
What’s changed on the cars?
I was hoping for info on the chassis and engines they're running this year and the race calendar....
Wikipedia is your friend. I know that sounds obvious, but as an IndyCar die hard, this is where I always go for that information
@@BeauFiftyTwo Cheers dude
Can you please repave Sebring? Such an iconic track but boy is it showing its age.
New engine 2021? V6 but not hybrid?
In terms of liveries, there's Jack Harvey's car, and then there's every other car in the series.
_you're just saying that because it's pink lol_
@@razor_170 Normally, if you'd ask me if I ever thought a pink car would be the best looking one amongst a large group, I'd say there was no way. But, Jack's car always stands out. That's my opinion only, of course.
@@jagreb dalton Kellets car is pretty cool too
@@brflynn17 Haven't seen his and, to be honest, I've never actually heard of him. I'll look him up. Thanks!
@@jagreb he comes into frame around 3:04 he’s in the white and green car
O som dos motores muito mais legal do que os F1
0:50 jimmie
Hope indycar have 7 or 8 gear for better acceleration and 2.0 v6 engine. Save fuel and no vacuum cleaner
Who was driving the 14 car was it Romain Grosjean?
No. That's Sebastien Bourdais.
This new cars have windshields. Nice, i like this!
ugly af. and those are not windshield, its protection from flying debris.
That´s ugly and shit like all what comes from the IMS, now PENSKE Entertaintment !
Earlybird Earlybird same thing was said about the halo in F1. And now look at it. It saved Leclerc’s and Grojean’s life. Same thing could be said about Indycar’s halos. Would you rather have headless drivers or “ugly” aeroscreens/halos?
@@staitz2728 i think it would be best to limit speeds to only 100 mph, for the reasons of safety, and then, slowly phase out human drivers all together, so they dont get hurt.
@@staitz2728 btw you cant say for sure grosjean would be dead without halo, but you can say for sure that he almost burned to death bc of halo.
What are the updates on the cars..??? And why the cars are testing with the same car lyveries ..from last year why not they wsit till the opening race to race with that lyveries...thanksssss....!!!!! Oh .and the tracks ate a shit too much bumpies ..can they fic them make it more smooth tracks ..so the car can go more fasters...thanks......!!!@@@
The teams actually like the track the way it is because its like testing on a street circuit, which over a third of the schedule is street courses.
cant hear difference between honda and illmor
The great times for Indycars (Champcars) are over !!!
Pulling for #48 to have a successful debut.
what layout are they using?
The Club Circuit. Basically the north half of the full track.
Few things to note for me 1. ABSD (anybody but scott Dixon) 2. Kinda Wish Albon would’ve gone on loan in INDYCAR instead of DTM 3.hoping to see a breakout season from Arrow McLaren 4.Kinda Wish INDYCAR raced at Sebring that would be an awesome race to watch
sim racing garage? :)
Soon this will be closed wheel racing!
faltan marcas de autos como FORD Y DODGE PARA QUE SEA MAS ATRACTIVO QUE LA FORMULA UNO
The car from the front looks alright just the siide is kinda ugly ngl I get that it’s safer but can’t they find a way to make it look cooler
Go Mclaughlin

Are the cars any different from last year?
No.
Next big change will be new engines in 2023.
@@LankyTurtle Are they going to the turbo hybrids that year?
Same old crap- new Year!
@@DeoVindice_61-65 yeah they'll still be turbo V6 but with a larger displacement 2.4L (currently 2.2) and with the added hybrid should make about 150HP more than now.
Why no mclarens?
Rosenquist said on twitter he was looking forward to testing on the 17th or 18th so maybe they tested somewhere else. Penske and Coyne also weren't at this test.
There are no McLarens. All the cars are Dallara's.
they can do the best they can ...but f1 still the best technicaly
but indy cars will certainly be less boring
when did indy sound best?
Back in its old, Pre-IRL days; kinda like the days F1 had the V10's, before it went to the Turbo Hybrids.
4+ prototype indy
They need to get rid of that silly visor crap.
F1 engime and indycar engime are to alike
Raymond James side lenexa kansas
Rispetto alla F 1 sono delle bagnarole...
Best graphic application of the new IndyCar body: OMG ... McLaren
Honorable Mentions: Sirius, Gainbridge, Monster (from photos elsewhere).
Least inspired graphics: Huski Chocolate - so dull. who would want a Huski chocolate after seeing this car? Maybe they can liven it up (a LOT) - their boats look OK.
design better than f1.
Cap
Engine wise the way F1 has to go for 2025.
Too slow
Not sure why they chose a crap track like that. We have a much better here at Sears Point.
(My opinion only!)
It's a real shame that the USA motorsport scene is so dominated by ovals.
Don't get me wrong - ovals produce some fantastic racing! But it seems that ovals dominate because they provide the spectacle of close racing, and huge accidents! Plus they can accommodate so many spectators.
North America has some FANTASTIC road courses and I don't see them utilised as much as I'd like.
Road American
Watkins Glen
Road Atlanta
Sebring
- These circuits are up there with the best in the world for character and challenge (my opinion!). But generally the racing isn't as close and the accidents not as BIG as those seen on the fast ovals.
Due to the current safety standards (e.g. barrier positioning and catch fencing) and facilities, the FIA wouldn't sanction an F1 race at these 4 circuits. Sadly there doesn't seem to be a push to meet the required criteria and therefore I can't see F1 visiting any of these circuits any time soon!
F1より全然イイ音してる、鈴鹿に来て!
Can't believe they race there !!! What a shitty track !!!
Que pista horrível.
You would think, after racing on that POS track for 50 years, they could have smoothed it out.
Damn, those cars are ugly. Yeah, I'm an old-school race fan who longs for a return to the aesthetic in race car design. Alas it will never happen as life has become all about efficiency.
aeroscreen...so ugly
*No!!*
Horríveis cars
*Que Isso, Cara!!*
These are the ugliest cars...ever
