First Solo Hike The Norwegian Mountains

  • Sometimes it's best to know when NOT to venture further into the unknown and for me this was one of those times.
    Originally planned as a 5 day - 105km trek through the Norwegian mountains ended up as "there and back again" trip from Middalsbu to Litlos/ Kollsvatnet.
    The scenary was absolutely stunning and rugged. But after 50km on trail, 102 stream crossings and roughly 1600m of altitude traveresed, my knees was busted and my trekking pole was broken. So ALWAYS prioritize safety first. Come back stronger!

    Nice video. Planning a hike to Norway myself. I have been looking at the St. Olav Way, from Oslo to Trondheim.
