The character of Ceres Fauna is not dying, but she has moved on to a place where we will never see or hear from her again, which is essentially death from a person's perspective.
Or, the soul is still here, but the "person" it once inhabited is gone... so while _we_ as outsiders know where to find her, her friends in this other world we observe cannot see her anymore.
These graduations man, they never fail to make you tear up. Thank you Fauna for these 3.5 years of pure green kirin goodness.

Brother you are so right. Fauna inspired others to become vtubers if they are passionate about what the people behind those models have been meant to be for their viewers, whether they like being that ofor them or they do it for their own growth. No matter the reason why vtubers decide to do what they do, or who they de ide to be, they always do it for someone, and more often than not to help others get through rough patches in life whether by their own creation and control or because of things nobody can control. Fauna is my "Grandoshi" in a way, as she inspired ShyLily to try vtubing, and ShyLily said herself that Fauna is her oshi, so i admire Fauna for that much alone, and knowing she might be leaving HoloLive because of some fairly serious issues genuinely breaks my heart, but i truly hope that is not true. I gave Lily a collab idea within hours of hearing about Fauna's graduation from HoloLive, and i hipe beyond hope it gets used...to give context of what my idea was, i will only say it has to do with the lore of their characters as their models, and that they themselves have both acknowledged they might use it possibly.
I hope you do you well Fauna, in all your future endeavors. I also hope to see you with ShyLily as soon as is possible, because i know that ShyLily will definitely love getting to stream with you, maybe so much so that her having as much fun as i know she will have will bring you much joy also.
Fauna carried me through the roughest deployment to Iraq last year. Her voice lulled me to sleep amidst the outgoing fire every night. No matter how rough the day, I'd at least have her to look forward to.

i was sad when Coco did her goodbye stream, Ame and Fauna, yes i cried, but the one who breaks me was Sana. I was sad yes but happy smiling cheering for her in her graduation stream but at the end the final animation with the BreadDoggo was too much for me, i just exploded.

It would be a selfish act to ask someone to stay in one place forever. Things change, priorities change. 2024 is nothing like 2021 and the next upcoming years will have even more changes. But what matters the most to me is seeing a talent's growth throughout the years and being a Holomem is not a regrettable decision

For me, she's the one who has really captivated me in the EN branch since her debut. Her model really suits her voice. It's sad that she decided to quit as Fauna. But at the same time I am glad that she wants to pursue what she really wants to do.

I cried so badly when she sang anniversary without the other members it made me sad but atleast we know that she was happy with us the saplings atill sad to see her go tho
Be proud that the seedling that was planted a few years ago has become firmly rooted in the soil that is Hololive. She has grown into a long-living tree providing life and air to new talents who've made their nests upon these soils. May others continue to cherish and be inspired by the fruits of her labor. The gymnopedie 1 is such a nice song, it hit so hard when it started playing at the end of the stream...
I listened to Gymnopedies 1-2-3 and Gnossiennes 1-2-3 a lot (often on loop as one playlist), so I immediately recognize them anywhere and always happy when people use that music.
But I agree it hits hard.
Her voice was really calming and soothing to hear and I'm disappointed and ashamed of myself that I didn't get to watch her sooner. I got teared up hearing her final message.

Never thought we could lose 2 from Promise, Sana and Fauna, this 2 girls were amazing! they try their best to entertain us. both Sana, Fauna and Ame graduation stream broke me even up to this day, Sana graduation still hurts me. Both this girls are chill and i do enjoy some yappings. Thank you Fauna for everything.

I know this is a little late but I had discovered hololive 2 years ago due to some Fauna clips in another video. Even though I know where to go to see her again but EN won’t feel right without. this was the first graduation that made me genuinely tear up at the end. It was a wild ride while it lasted, Fauna's jokes and just her in general just connected with me along with Mumei, their type of brainrot and memes were up my alley.
