Dear Lizzy, I am so impressed by you and your courage.I had a son who had Cystic FIBROSIS.HE died at 7. every where he went he was made fun of because he was so skinny and always Had a terrible cough that would wind him .Being so skinny was the worst for him,the being called skeleton boy and others.He had no real friends.I praise God every day I had him.You are an inspiration to alllthose who have a health issues.You hit it right on .even though you have bad days you have family ,friends and us God Bless you Lizzy. I'm sorry for your terrible loss. I was the most teased/ostracized person in my school, class and bus. I had no physically obvious oddities, I was not overweight (then), underweight, not uugly or gorgeous etc, nothing strange other than that I was ridiculously optimistic, towhead blonde, with a religion that observes the 7th day Sabbath rather than Sundays. I have ADD and dyslexia and couldn't sit still for anything for about 48 years!!! Anyway, I really can feel for those bullied because I was a target in the early 70's throughout the mid to late 80's. You don't have to have anything that stands out except the ability to show your negative reactions to the bullies when they attack -which fuels the fire for them to continue!!! I ended up married to 2 men that were also bullies thinking they were just "leaders". No, they were conquerors of my esteem!!!! I'm strong because of it though. Many that buckle under the pressure to get surgeries and wear overtly sexy clothing or change their entire looks are ruled by those bullies to not be what they already are. I rebelled against them! I changed NOTHING! My biggest triumph is being completely comfortable in my own skin! Many miracles have I seen would have been missed had I let them rule how I react. I act, I don't react!

Lizzie I just learned about you an hour ago in ABC Nightline and then I watched some of your videos.I am a 70 year old man who was bullied quite a bit as a small boy but I have not talked about it much during my life. After all a man is supposed to be tough and work it out, right? My father was in the Navy and we moved probably every 6 months until I was 12 years old which made it necessary for me to attend 10 elementary schools. I was ALWAYS the new kid. I was fortunate to have a somewhat "normal" appearance, other than I looked like a kid who was easy to push around, so obviously I did not have to suffer the indignities that you did. I was however always the last kid picked for teams, always the kid that had his lunch money taken away, and many other mean things that kids do. At one school the boys would pour water on the front of my pants so that I looked like I peed my pants....a very humiliating experience for a 6 year old. Yes, my experiences are little things compared to what you have had to endure but my point is that bullying is a terrible thing for young people to deal with and I am sure that some of my lack of self-confidence that I still deal with today at 70 years of age is a result of those experiences. Your story and your incredible courage to share it with people is a special gift to all who will listen. I am very inspired by you and I love your spirit and your wonderful soul. Your message probably inspires thousands of people, young and old. Thank you for sharing it.

Lizzie I just learned about you an hour ago in ABC Nightline and then I watched some of your videos.I am a 70 year old man who was bullied quite a bit as a small boy but I have not talked about it much during my life. After all a man is supposed to be tough and work it out, right? My father was in the Navy and we moved probably every 6 months until I was 12 years old which made it necessary for me to attend 10 elementary schools. I was ALWAYS the new kid. I was fortunate to have a somewhat "normal" appearance, other than I looked like a kid who was easy to push around, so obviously I did not have to suffer the indignities that you did. I was however always the last kid picked for teams, always the kid that had his lunch money taken away, and many other mean things that kids do. At one school the boys would pour water on the front of my pants so that I looked like I peed my pants....a very humiliating experience for a 6 year old. Yes, my experiences are little things compared to what you have had to endure but my point is that bullying is a terrible thing for young people to deal with and I am sure that some of my lack of self-confidence that I still deal with today at 70 years of age is a result of those experiences. Your story and your incredible courage to share it with people is a special gift to all who will listen. I am very inspired by you and I love your spirit and your wonderful soul. Your message probably inspires thousands of people, young and old. Thank you for sharing it.

Mr Wiggins, you don't have to do anything at all, and I didn't say you had to. Yes, we get it, you believe she is factually ugly. Of course most people don't find her sexually attractive upon viewing her. Why would they? This is obviously not a fine breeding specimen. There would be something wrong with you if you took one look at her and thought you wanted her to have your babies.
I'm not going to argue about inner beauty and other regards in which one can find this woman beautiful, because I am well aware you are not talking about beauty in any of those contexts, and even if you were, you would be ill-equipped to address these aspects of her beauty because, as you just alluded, you do not watch her videos or seem to know anything at all about her.
So, in at least one definition of the word, she is not beautiful; she does not meet many standards of beauty. So? Does that mean you have to go on all her videos and keep repeating that over and over? And when you do, why are you surprised when people challenge your views on the definition of beauty? You don't get very specific yourself. You don't make sure everyone knows exactly which definitions you are talking about. Surely you must know there are many definitions and aspects of the concepts of beautiful and ugly. One man's opinion about one aspect of one definition of a word does not define a person, no matter how many times you say it. And that really narrows the "it" in "telling it like it is."
So why do you keep saying it? Why do you feel the need to "tell it like it is," over and over and over? Just for fun? Is this how you enjoy spending your time? Can you not see how othes would find this behavior pathetic? Do you have no remorse over the way it makes a person feel when you repeatedly tell them something negative that, while it may even be true, they have no control over? Do you do this to others? Do you do it to them in person? Do you have any desire to stop repeating this one tiny aspect of what you find to be true and look at the truth in the grande scheme of things?
I never said I disagreed with you. I said I found your incessant need to state the same insult over and over again to be pathetic. And I asked you why you do it.
