- We hijacked this Boston Whaler 250 Dauntless powered with a single 400 horsepower Mercury outboard from Union Marine in Bellingham, Washington so we could show you around this fun center console. This bay boat offers a variety of options including inshore saltwater fishing, spearfishing, scuba diving, and it makes a great day boat for cruising around with family and friends. Watersports are even an option with the addition of the tow point on the t-top. This boat is powered by a single 400 horsepower Mercury V10 outboard engine, which is not only incredibly quiet, but also provides unreal acceleration from 0 to 30 mph in just 8 seconds. First new Dauntless I've seen fitted with the full bow rail. Looks good, but the split bow rail is more functional for me.

Don’t forget to stow those aft seat cushions before you gun it again or those will go bye bye. The aft seats are a horrible design.
