also, i just want to clarify, i do listen to what i like, no matter what people think. i listen to japanese music. indie/underground stuff. and people know it. and i don't care what they think. maybe i phrased it wrong earlier when i said "embarrassed" and everyone started replying mainly to that word (i didn't expect anyone to say anything) but still i appreciate the concern.
you should not worry..about what other people think..& to the point where you would feel embarrassed..for being true to the person you are..through the things you like and appreciate..not everyone is going to like..& understand the same things as you..if you like something..you should embrace & appreciate it..as the only person whos opinion matters..is yours..you should not worry what other people think..if you listen to a certain type of music..you just be true to you.. :) Thank you ^_^
@YonKitoTaoshibe That's awesome! It started that way to. With anime's (Especially Fullmetal Alchemist's first opening Ready Steady Go by L'arc~en~ciel) I think that's what started it for me. And I love Alice Nine :) Lol, I'm glad I'm not the only one :)
Duel Jewel deffinately one of my favorites and Visuall Kei is awsome there is no reason for being embarrassed. People who talk down about visual kei is either ignorant or jealous and they know it.
thanks for the advice (to you / everyone) but i guess i just don't like most vk anymore ("MOST," i still love the gazettE and rentrer en soi)... : / i'm not saying i don't respect it as a form of music... but my tastes have changed. it has nothing to do with the style (well a little bit. i feel like some of the bands are more interested in posing for photo shoots than actually making good songs, which may be a part of the vk culture, but that's not for me. an cafe for example :X don't shoot me)
