This explains why she wasn't in Sonic Forces, she's the Doomsday Protocol for the resistance, if Dr. Robotnik was beyond defeat, they just summon Cream and an army of Chao. Why not send her earlier? When picking between 2 evils, pick the one easier to kill.

Oh lord. I already knew you were gonna talk about Chronicles the moment I saw the thumbnail. It makes me sad that nobody else I know really played Chronicles. As mediocre as it was, abusing Cream's abilities was some of the most fun I've had in any RPG. I've said for the longest time I want a sequel to that game. The idea of a Sonic RPG is awesome to me (especially because of the playable characters, holy shit), and the game ended on a colossal cliffhanger... but the main reason for me wanting one is so that I can use and abuse Cream again. She makes the aggravating fights tolerable, and it's not often you see a single party member do something THAT useful in any video game.

Grimahim it doesn't help that cream and omega were optional and I think missable even, sonic chronicles also made big tolerable and kind of funny
The fact Big could only attack once per turn really got on my nerves, and I don't recall ever finding any use in his POW moves. But he was always my hardest hitter when it came to regular attacks. I have absolutely no idea why the fuck Big the Cat was my strongest character but I'm not about to complain about it when Big's story in SA1 exists.

I enjoyed Chronicles too but at the same time it felt rushed and too short and compressed. The framerate dropping after you get full party and not having Blaze as a playable character was also irritating.

Besides her healing ability that some people have already mentioned, there're also her specials, which are very good -and spammable- and she has the best jump in the game (I think), there's also her air attack which is sort of spammable and her jabs are pretty good due to them being ranged ones

Sorio Phoenix Actually, there are Sonic battle tier list, and while Cream is good, she's nothing compared to Shadow and Emerl, who are the 2 S tier of the game.

I don't really know, the tier list i found are a bit old, but i assume there must be a small scene. People play Shrek Super Slam competively after all.
I always loved how Cream completely destroys all the bosses in Sonic advance 2. XD I never realised she was OP in chronicles too.
So Cream is more OP in her normal form that Sonic in his Super or Hyper mode.....

I'm surprised you only mentioned Cream's ability to fly in Heroes, because each of the Fly type members in Heroes have a special ability when they don't have team members to throw around.
If Amy and Big aren't grabbing on to her, Cream can do what she does in Sonic Advance 2 and send Cheese to destroy everything.

FINALLY! Someone agrees That sonic chronicles was enjoyable! I dont care about what people say about Forces, Secret Rings or Chronicles. I liked the game. And yeah its not a total masterpiece but still.
Yep, I thought so. Cream is easy to use and defeats bosses without doing much in Sonic Advance 2 (Eggman probably feared this little rabbit which is probably why Cream was kidnapped in the first place), she can carry both Amy and that fat cat Big in Sonic Heroes and is the best support character in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (I miss playing Sonic Chronicles, I love RPGs). I don't have much memory of Sonic Advance 3 so I don't have anything to say for it. PS: The reason Cream doesn't fly as long as Tails is because she gets more horizontal movement...I think.

In a series where three hedgehog can run at incredible speeds (one of them is carefree hedgehog that "befriends" almost everyone he meets, the other one is an edgy traumatized hedgehog that can unleash chaos, and the last one is a fangirl that stalks her hero), an 8-year-old two-tailed fox is smarter than a man with 300+ IQ, another white hedgehog who is a future boy has telekinesis that allows him to move pretty much anything, and a princess from another dimension who is a cat masters the power of the flames, you're telling me that a 6-year old rabbit girl is the most powerful character in the series?
And also in that world there is a master protector and rapper echidna (that doesn't chuckle by the way and once had a tribe), a trio of different species (a child bee, a ninja chameleon, and a rocker crocodile) that are detectives, an obscure duo of best friends who are an armadillo and a flying squirrel, a sexy bat thief (according to a song from a certain echidna), an assassin robot that wants to genocide, a team of professional birds that are hoverboard riders, a raccoon that dreams of becoming a sailor and inventor (who doesn't really have friends at all), a big lazy cat that is bff with a frog (that only croaks), a (weasel?) who is a professional sniper and treasure hunter, a green duck who is obsessed with dynamite (its even in the name), a large neutral polar bear, a bunch of small space creatures that give powerups when you (dualize?) touch them, a group of peaceful angel-like creatures, and an old large baldy McNosehair guy that can't destroy this animals (even when dedicating his life to create ultra dangerous maniacal complicated machinery and "befriending" gods and other peculiar creatures of destruction). This world is insane, and we haven't even discussed yet the other many forgotten characters that live in this world.
This is the amazing world of Sonic the Hedgehog!!!

In sonic heroes battle mode if you get Cream by her self she uses Cheese has a weapon also in the Sonic X anime she and cheese are the ones to defeat Emerl

The sound in sonic chronicles is absolutely horrific. I hope whoever worked on it got fired, and yes.. cream is so underrated by fans and sonic team. She's so powerful in advance and in chronicles
How they kidnap cream: shoot a tranquilizer dart at cheese from a extremely far distance then grab cheese and put some attack paralysis on cheese *untill sonic comes they will wear off* then they kidnap cream and there you go

You forgot to mention she's PRETTY DAMN OP in Sonic Battle, as well. She has the best jump skill next to EMERL's Ult., the strongest and fastest Air Attack, one of the best dash skills, her Air Ability grants the highest vertical distance without abusing mechanics, LITERALLY THE SECOND BEST OVERALL HEAL SKILL IN THE FUCKING GAME NEXT TO ULT., her Special Support skill fixes Shadow's Run Skill to be better than Sonic's, her Attack and Strength Supports are the most balanced in the game with both being 4/9, and her Shots and Powers are some of the most viable IN THE ENTIRE GAME, aside from Ult. set. And her Secret Air Power is FUCKING DEADLY!!! It can kill Chaos in JUST ONE USE!!! And her shot can spam-lock ANYONE to death, once it hits. Just as a playable character, she's a force to be reckoned with... But When combined with EMERL's Skill-swapping, she can make him UNSTOPPABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

J, aka Julius Belmont. He permanently slew Dracula in 1999, something that none of his ancestors were ever able to do, and when you discover that you’re playing as the reincarnation of Dracula, Julius becomes the penultimate boss of the game. Despite being in his 50’s and having been an amnesiac for 36 years he is widely considered to be one of the hardest bosses in the game if not THE hardest (many even consider him harder than the final boss!) but after the battle, it turns out that he was HOLDING BACK!!! Let that sink in for a moment

When I saw Cream's skills, my first instinct was to do precisely this. You lose out on some other silly Chao skills, but I didn't mind the tradeoff.

Cream is OP as fuck, also in another game called Sonic Battle, she has the best healing ability in the entire game, not to mention it fills her 1 hit KO special meter faster.
Advance 2 is pretty much self-explicatory, Advance 3 while it has been nerfed a bit, she's still a force to be reckoned, that must be why she's found in Zone 6.
As a character I really like her,she's one of my favorite characters and I prefer her more than any other of the females in the franchise, unfortunetly she no longer has made an appearence in many games and no longer playable, its a shame really

Yes, as fas as I remember you can collect the Ultimate skills and customize Emerl with it, but it had a limit,this is because there was a point system limit something like that, you can have like 1-2 Ultimate Skills customizable for Emerl, it was really limited in gameplay, but on the final battle he has all the Ultimate Skills
Gospel Well, she was in the 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games as one of the starter characters, but yeah she was way too OP, they nerfed her in Sonic Heroes
Cream is known as the weakest because she's always being captured like a princess, but whenever she's serious or determined to be a team player, she's the real Monster.
The reason on why she's easily captured is because she loves peace and literally doing nothing dangerous and also rely on others much more.
Think about Amy for a moment, in her backstories she's weaker than Tails himself, but after learning Magic and chasing Sonic so much, she's almost as equal as Sonic.
I guess you could say that the Female Characters are more dangerous than the lead themselves.

If another Sonic character makes it in, I think Shadow has the best chance. If not him, it's tails. If I got to choose, it's Silver. But having Cream as a playable character is... interesting? I dunno. I can't find much inspiration for a moveset for her except for Sonic Battle and Sonic Chronicles. They may have to make some stuff up.

An interesting fact I read about her is that while she can stay in the air shorter than Tails she actually flies faster.
In terms of flight function:
Tails= helicopter
Cream= Peregrine falcon
In sonic battle, cream has the best healing move to use. Not sure on attacks since each character has their own unique attacks.

So shadow the hedgehog claims to be the ultimate life form. Cream and cheese seems to outmatch him, but at least shadow has the better fanbase. Cream is also able to befriend emerl and blaze easily, and in the uncensored anime she's able to charm a robot.
Probably that's why she doesn't even appear in Forces. She would conquer back the world with Cheese and herselfxD Seriously though, it would be nice to bring her back and make her somehow realize how powerful she can be and make her a normal side character, rather than a sometimes playable background character.

Man, Cream was fun back in the good 'ole days. When my brother and I would play multiplayer Sonic Advance 3, it was always a race to get Tails, since my brother considered Cream's moveset with Tails to be the best (because of the floaty umbrella). Of course, only classy younger siblings use Knuckles and Tails, since Knuckles can fly and climb walls. Overall, though, this video was a great nostalgic trip! It reminds me of those days before my own Gameboy when I'd steal my brother's...

HOLY GOD DAMN CRAP, THANK YOU!!! *Finally* someone who acknowledges Cream for the absolute powerhouse she is >:D And, needless, I too am absolutely enraged at how Cream is often depicted as weak in cutscenes and gets kidnapped easily. Can't deny, a huge part of me hates Sonic Rush because it not only has Cream act rather OoC but she is in an entirely support role, not getting to show off her badassness, AND she gets captured by Eggman offscreen! And it's no doubt that, thanks to that bullshit, the majority of people and fellow Sonic fans view Cream as a sickly sweet weakling not belonging in this franchise, which I can't help but feel contributes largely to her lack of appearance and relevance lately...
Anyway, I thank you once again for the examples you put out, demonstrating once and for all Cream's badassery, but you forgot one other major example: Sonic Battle. In that game, Cream is a high tier character, if not top tier (excluding Ultimate Emerl, who is intentionally overpowered), boasting the best heal in the game, great movement and jump, and some very devastating attacks. And even in the story, Cream gets a level in badass, overcoming her pacifism to save and protect Emerl from a powerful robot
The first Sonic Riders is also a slight example of Cream being one of the more powerful Sonic characters XD Though her stats in that game are weak, she is the lightest character in the game (beneficial as light weight characters use much less fuel to boost). Slap her on the Light Board, which descreases weight even more, and Cream becomes a boosting goddess, easily getting ahead of the other racers by miles

In Sonic Riders, boy, I played the absolute shit out of her. And still do to this day.
She has directly downgraded stats from Rouge/Tails, but boy, is always great to pick her. Her (& Knuckles :3) lvl. 1 attack animation are the most enjoyable to see, too. XD
Another thing to be said about Cream in sonic heroes is that when she is the only member of the group left (which rarely happens but still) she can order cheese to completly destroy every enemy around her.
She is S tier on Sonic battle, I think.
Her specials are stupidly powerful. Her POW special takes half the hp of most of the characters, while her shot special was one of the fastest ones in the game. But what makes her broken is her healing ability. She only needs 4-5 seconds to replenish all the HP and one-shot gauge, which makes her specials even more broken.
NO SHIT, SHE'S S-TIER!!! RIGHT UP THERE WITH SHADOW AND FUCKING EMERL HIMSELF!!!

Thing is, she doesn't even have all that! Shortest block in the game goes to Rouge and EMERL's Default Skill, and she's still faster than Chaos, not to mention she can still outrun a few of the others via her dash. And that's not mentioning how fast her jump is, and her Air Ability gives the highest vertical distance out of any other in the game! Not even Ultimate Double Jump can beat that shit! She might not be Shadow, Sonic, or Tails, but she can move when she needs to!
Somehow it doesn't surprise me that Rouge has even worse block, Rouge is a bad character overall, her story has to be the most difficult in the entire game. Cream has to be like the easy mode even though it comes so late.
1:13 fun fact: knuckles is pretty stronger in old sonic cause master emerald power totally hold island and gave knuckles power too.
And super tails is my favorite one and i hate new canon thing is only male hedgehog can do.
