Hey nothing against your video as it looks as everything worked out well. Pound cakes should be rephrased as Sugar cakes. Probably better to use much less Sugar and maybe the less refined products, molasses or other. Again no ding, less and better.
I've made several different pound cakes in the same bread machine he used. I've tried several things to improve both the texture, airiness and flavor to no avail. What you get, no matter what you do is a dense, not particularly flavorful cake that can only be 'enhanced' by adding things like blueberries or using confectioners sugar glazes with a bit of lemon juice. I tried chocolate and it really wasn't good at all. I followed Zojirushi's instruction book exactly! no bueno....make your pound cakes the old fashioned, regular way--you'll like the results much better. I have to add the Virtuoso Plus does make wonderful breads, again following their recipe book! Every bread I've made in the machine (and I've made in total over 70 loaves now) has turned out perfect and delicious! A great machine for baking bread!!

After you scrapped down the flour & pressed start again, did the blades start to knead again?
