That podium battle was fucking AWESOME! 5 points between the lot and Laddo probably missing out because of that 11/10 2 wheel moment and then Longbow getting the W on the last race to secure 2nd! Glorious all around!
Wow! Laddo up on two wheels for that long was crazy awesome! Had me laughing hard when Alex was limping along with only one back wheel for so far, lol!
No offense to everyone else you run with, you guys are all WAY better than I am at racing games, but ninetails is just in a league of their own
Ninetales is also the one who the fans seem to love the most, even though they don't talk. At all. They've been with FailRace at least since Rhysss was part of the crew, and I think since Husky was helping with filming.

When I scan the leaderboards, every so often I'll see ninetails name among the highest. Although I do see longbow up there as well so I'd say longbow is underratedly good on wreckfest.
Ninetales is very, very good, but they also got very lucky this time too. It helps x)
I'm alright at the game, helps I played it on PC previously. The server lag kills me in multiplayer though

Why didn't Alex go in reverse with the broken wheel, the car seemed to track correctly?
I'm asking myself the same thing. All the times he threw it into reverse and it was quick and relatively controlled. Just drive around the circuit in reverse.

@@jamesmchenry4708 They're a youtube channel that compiles weird car videos, and they do the top gear style comic intro of mentioning three random innocuous things that reveal nothing about what actually happens in the videos. But I'm pretty sure everyone that does this got this idea from top gear. If top gear got it from somewhere else I've never seen it.

Pro tips from a Wreckfest veteran:
1. locked diff can help a lot driving on three wheels
2. when trying to drive with a rear wheel gone, it'll be more drivable in reverse

My favorite B-class all-rounder. It slices, it dices, it make julienne fries! (out of Boomers).

Also a point for fastet lap should be a thing if it already isn’t
I did some maths using part 1 of the tournament and got the following point system, which I later confirmed using part 2. Point system is:
1st = 20
2nd = 17
3rd= 15
4th = 13
5th= 11
6th = 10
7th = 9
8th= 8
9th = 7
10th = 6
11th = 5
12th = 4
13th = 3
14th= 2
No points are awarded for fastest lap, and no points are awarded for DNFs.

Oh my goodness, that penultimate race against Chris was *SO close*!!! only you could make a race where you're missing a critical wheel so interesting!
Both of my scoresheets had Ninetails clinch after the 7th race, with the points order entering the final race: gliscor, Alex, Laddo, Longbow, and nobody else in with a shot at either 2nd or 3rd. Ninetails dominance was on what I'd call the dirt or dirt+tarmac "rally" style tracks, no jumps, which he won three-of-three.
Using F1 scoring, Longbow still beats Alex for second, by virtue of tiebreaker, while Chris picks up 7th over ewan and Dangerman:
1. 144 Ninetails
2. 103 Longbow
3. 103 Alex
4. 95 Laddo
5. 88 gliscor
6. 63 Liam
7. 52 Chris
8. 51 ewan

I can't wait to see some 'Survive the hunt' & 'Hunt the survivors' in Horizon 5! With a much bigger map than in Horizon 4, it's gonna be more tricky to navigate and much harder to hunt in the jungle parts. I think it will take some time to get used to the map there.

Doesn't surprise me, the Hotbomb while maybe not the best at anything is really really good at everything. A cars I think you have to go with normal damage or they get ripped apart too easily; especially the Eagle R so good job on finishing as high as you did; it's extremely fast on most tracks but also very fragile.

I'm really curious about that second race, is the one checkpoint just in the middle, and then you can pick whichever loop you want to go around?
Yes you can go left or right after you jump in and then left or right to reach the start/finish
The bravest man in the world is the race marshal at 0:48. Not much protection from a rolling car crash there!
Was this played with realistic damage?
Don't know the game, but it looked like reverse was fine after losing the rear wheel. Would it not have been better just to only reverse instead?
After you lost a wheel it was painful watching your car work so well in reverse but you never realized that was an option. :(

The second race, around the clover leaf, not sure what it's called, why do you always take the right loop? Not just this race, any time you race this track you take the right loop way more than the left, in this race you didn't go left at all. Just think it would make the race more interesting to us, the viewers, if you used all the track that was available.

cant you just drive in reverse
do you allow suspension / ratio adjustments between races or do you have to set it at the start of the tourney and leave it?
They allow all tuning before every race, you just cant upgrade or degrade a car in any way (in this case, Class A / 275)

I played Wreckfest the otherday on Xbox and I couldn't get past the second race before it disconnected me. I have good internet so I think their Servers must be shit.
You should have reversed over the finish line.
Love the Wreckfest videos, though make any mistakes and you are out. Wreckfest just needs a touch of forgiveness, but not as much forgiveness as GTA 5.
