I see some of the problems and think "that doesn't look V8 - maybe I could even project it", until I notice just how much the camera tends make overhangs appear deceptively vertical haha... The narration is really awesome by the way - great for those of us trying to improve our techniques and route reading skills.
Hey, coming to end of my hangboard cycle feeling so much stronger already!!! Would be cool to see how you schedule all your other training sessions in for the month:) keep it up
this was my first video of yours. i like that you and therewith the video is calm. no action bling bling bla bla that many others have. which is also fun. but not always. thanks for creating content.
I really enjoyed watching you without a mask on. 👍🏼 Thank you so much for your explanations. They help me a lot to understand where to focus on when climbing. 😊
I love how you explain and then give some time just to watch you climb!! Sometimes the voice over distracts me from cool moves. I would love to see a setting video with this editing. I think it would be so dope to hear your thoughts from a setter’s perspective instead of a climber’s
Any outdoor videos coming in the future? Or doing more stuff with Eric Karlsson? Also if you want to share tips on heel hooking would be much appreciated. Anything that requires harder pulling causes me massive pain in back of the knee part and I think it is because of being weak. No idea how to get stronger in that other than gradually finding harder stuff.
I’m heading outdoors next week 😏 and I’m talking to Erik to make some plans too 😏 For heel hooks, I used to have huge pains behind the knee too and I started doing some hamstring reinforcement exercises in the gym which helped tons ! I can defo do a video about it !
@@sofya_yokoyama When I asked at the desk about cotations, they showed me this file: imgur.com/a/1e9OUlG It feels like Arkose is underestimating their boulders.
@@alexgalays910 the file they showed you is clearly an under estimation. lots of very strong boulderers come to arkose genevois(either from swiss or france), there wouldnt be any point in giving such low grades until purple. I'd grade it about the same as sofya. black is about 7B-7b+ average i'd say. purple 7B+ and above.
@@sofya_yokoyama ah ok, thank you for answering!! In most gyms they would have tagged harder grades than what you proposed haha :D Love your videos, keep it up!!
Explaining in detail what you change between attempts was super instructional!
Thanks for sharing the failed attempts and falls, too.

Love watching "just bouldering" videos hehe =D And great explanations too
You have a radio voice!
So pleasant to listen! 🤘
Cool video! 😎
Currently in lockdown and missing climbing so much! Loved watching this boulder sesh :)
I love the chill vibes in your videos. And the analysis and explanations of your moves are great !
just pure climbing as you said :) nice boulders and commentary so great job 👍
Excellent climbing! Very strong. :) Voiceovers are great-little tidbits on beta adjustments and thought process. 👍🏼
imma claim that emil would have loved that 7c compression boulder towards the end. cool video, i sometimes miss having you on the ekb crew!
the movement analysis is so helpful and it's just so fun to watch you crush these beastly boulders (and fall off of course). lol nice watch tan!
Ahaha thaanks !
Super vidéo, c'est instructif et agréable à regarder !

Love the commentary! Question: do you have any fear of falling when going for higher holds? How do you get past that?
For me, arkose is the best bouldering gym ever to increase your technique !!
Merci pour les détails, ça donne une idée plus subtil de ce qu'est la grimpe :)
Boulders always look easier on video but these still look impossible.
Lol yeah, black/purple at arkose is no joke.

Awesome! I know it is irrelevant but love your hair.:)
I like the "n°" on the transition part.
Nice videos!
I’m looking for new Boulder shoes. Which street shoe size do you have and what do you wear in your drago?
Thanks for helping out! ☺️
I wear 38 street shoes and wear 36 (for comps) and 36.5 (for training) in Dragos !
bro i literally love you what dont you get about that
she loves you too she told me when we got lunch together
In which town was that gym? Looks great and nice boulders - and great climbing by you of course 😉😎
In anemasse
This title was very alluring.
Great video! Out of curiosity, how often do you usually boulder each week?
I boulder 4x / week if I’m not doing any lead.
How long do your shoes last?
Nice ! I almost never see people finish purple problems at Arkose hehe. Are the grades based on your estimation?
Yes they are !

It feels like Arkose is underestimating their boulders.
Hmm I personally found the boulders much harder than what they’ve estimated ahah
@@sofya_yokoyama Might be heavily dependent on the boulder style. Do you often climb outside Sofya?

what are you favorite volumes, and shapes to use?
I really like the big flathold pinches and the flathold sloper volumes are really cool to climb on too
@@sofya_yokoyama
have you climbed L.E.D. lit walls yet?
you think you would like a wall that morphs? while you climb???
🤔😁
C’est dans quel salle ?
Arkose Annemasse
Is the gym grading his problems or was the grad shown what you personally think? I think they looked properly hard but I'm just interested :)
My estimation (which could be completely wrong too ahah). They only use the colors and say easy, medium, hard,…

Bae 😍
When is your next comp?
Maybe September !
