    Explaining in detail what you change between attempts was super instructional!

    I see some of the problems and think "that doesn't look V8 - maybe I could even project it", until I notice just how much the camera tends make overhangs appear deceptively vertical haha...
    The narration is really awesome by the way - great for those of us trying to improve our techniques and route reading skills.

    I love how you explain and then give some time just to watch you climb!! Sometimes the voice over distracts me from cool moves. I would love to see a setting video with this editing. I think it would be so dope to hear your thoughts from a setter’s perspective instead of a climber’s

    Any outdoor videos coming in the future? Or doing more stuff with Eric Karlsson? Also if you want to share tips on heel hooking would be much appreciated. Anything that requires harder pulling causes me massive pain in back of the knee part and I think it is because of being weak. No idea how to get stronger in that other than gradually finding harder stuff.

      @sofya_yokoyama  3 роки тому

      I’m heading outdoors next week 😏 and I’m talking to Erik to make some plans too 😏
      For heel hooks, I used to have huge pains behind the knee too and I started doing some hamstring reinforcement exercises in the gym which helped tons ! I can defo do a video about it !

      @@sofya_yokoyama When I asked at the desk about cotations, they showed me this file: imgur.com/a/1e9OUlG
      It feels like Arkose is underestimating their boulders.

    • @sofya_yokoyama
      @sofya_yokoyama  3 роки тому +1

      @@sofya_yokoyama Might be heavily dependent on the boulder style. Do you often climb outside Sofya?

    • @jeremiemorel7611
      @jeremiemorel7611 3 роки тому

      @@alexgalays910 the file they showed you is clearly an under estimation. lots of very strong boulderers come to arkose genevois(either from swiss or france), there wouldnt be any point in giving such low grades until purple. I'd grade it about the same as sofya. black is about 7B-7b+ average i'd say. purple 7B+ and above.
