OMG, #4!!!!!!!! Especially when dancing with us beginner leads. I've danced with follows that didn't even try to hide that they look bored, even when I'm smiling, onbeat and leading moves that are beyond the normal CBL and left/right turns. Please remember we are REALLY trying and be merciful. We will get there, I promise.
Another one I find is whenever you're doing the basic steps back and forth and the lead doesn't give space for me to move forward so I have to stay in place or I'll step on his feet 😆..I wanna push him back buti want to let him lead too ...
Is it alright to give constructive criticism after the dance is over? I assume you should not correct someone during the dance but perhaps afterwards it would be acceptable and even helpful. For instance, what do I do with a follower who leads or who gives me a flat hand hold and thinks it is correct when I keep losing contact with her during the dance as a consequence? Also, how do I deal with women who let their long hair hang down their backs making it near impossible to place my right hand anywhere but on their buttocks (I exaggerate a bit but not by much)? Help!

Great tips! I'll add a follower mistake: Initiating moves herself, not letting the man lead completely.

Here's another one. Don't drink so much that you reek of alcohol. Don't try to do the stripper moves all the time, its not sexy, just cheezy.
