- hope the two people that watch enjoy this because making this animatic sure was a journey. i needed to find a project to take my mind off of things, and it worked out perfectly. especially considering my current obsession with odazai...

I like never comment on youtube videos but this is genuinely the best animatic I've ever seen. no, that's not enough praise, like the way I felt this in my SOUL, it's actually just one of the best pieces of art and I'm obsessed with it. idk how I just found it but I will now proceed to share with my friends because I'm amazed and awestruck and very emotional about it

No matter how many years pass, I still find myself coming back to this animatic and watch it from start to finish without skipping anything because every second of it is so captivating, I never wish for it to end! This song also fits with the whole atmosphere of the visuals and generally with the angsty vibe of the Beast novel. Odazai's bond already makes me emotional enough and the way they're portrayed here, it makes it so satisfying and painful at the same time to watch. Thank you for creating this!

hey your art is gorgeous its so beautiful its literally too underrated. i was going to ask, have you finished the beast manga like is it all out or is this from the light novel. if its manga where did you read it?
hey, i'm so happy you think so!! it really made my day. and this was based off of what i've read from the light novel! the manga is still ongoing, but it's an illustrated form of the light novel so they're not too different from one another
