I have updated and just finished my 1st 3D work on this new version. The new UI is better and more organized for easy editing. The bottom bar blocking the workspace and having to enter each render view for settings were quite annoying.
Great! I just finished a whole course text with screenshot's with the old UI. Few weeks of work down the drain, thanks Twinmotion xD Instead of releasing this together with the Autodesk collaboration announcement. I already trained a few dozen people Twinmotion since the integration in the AEC collection. They just learned it and now everything changes places :p
Great video. Been away for a bit - has the Twinmotion to Unreal Engine process/quality improved? Last time I tried it (about a year and a half ago) it was pretty shoddy. Just getting back to it now.
@@TheRevitKid Thats the problem. Not one video on how to activate them. Not one video showing how to create a path in 2023. Your a star in REVIT world. Been watching you for years. Well done.
@TheRevitKid - Good afternoon Jeff. Watching your vids, got me checking out Twinmotion (2022.2.3)... Although not the 2023 version, I've noticed there is a lack of trees and vegetation content within the library. Particularly, minimal 'tropical' species, and large leaf types. Can you please review the 2023 content library and provide some feedback regarding my concerns? Thus far, Lumion is favored since the library there is much larger; especially when trying to portray similar plant types(visually) as the landscape architect has specified. Any insight you may have is appreciated...
You mentioned you have a 2k and a 4k monitor? I was looking in the links below for what you have but didn't see any. Can you share what you're using for 4k and if you recommend it?
Hi Jeff! Very excited to see you and everyone's excitement over the new interface, it's a great improvement no doubt. Great comparison between '22 and '23 - looking forward to seeing what you and the community make! If you have any questions about anything don't hesitate to reach out - I'd be happy to help in any way! 😄 Plus, as a fellow architect and UA-camr, I'd be down to collab with you one day 🤔!
Thanks for tuning in and he kind words! For sure!! Epic has been doing a really good job listening to the community and working with its users.. I have to applaud them.
I wouldn’t use TM without 8GB of VRAM just in general ! Forget park tracer! Fwiw, you also need direct X 12 for path tracer… which may be your problem not the vram
No, but it has direct link... I don't care much for livesync in that I always have mutiple phases and design options in the scene.. I'd rather just export and refresh. That being said... My gut tells me livesyn is coming in the next couple releases... we'll see.
Loving these videos man
☺ cheers! Thanks for the kind words.
Thanks Jeff. This new update is A HUGE DEAL. Thanks for the quick introduction. Much appreciated
You bet!
That was a great review Jeff! I have played with TwinMotion in the past and I am so excited about this.
Definitely give it a try!
Thanks for an excellent video, I am loving the new version!
Cheers! Me too, if you couldn’t tell! 🤣
This is awesome, always inspired by your videos.
Cheers!

Haha that’s how it works!
Thanks, for show us it

Do you think lumen will be the heavy hitter update for the full release, if so i think it would definitely bring them back into talk for the best!
I hope so... but I have not heard of them working on it for the current release... They did flip to Unreal 5.1... so that is PROGRESS to getting it.
is the ui different for the twinmotion for revit plugin?
Great video.

Just starting using this software. But not sure how you get to context menu for vehicle paths and import google earth info. Was visible on ver. 2022
The settings for those tools are now on the right hand side when you activate them.

I don’t know exactly what new foliage they are planning to add to the release. I’m sure if you email them they will fill you in!

The 4K monitor i actually my laptop screen... The 2K monitor is a viewsonic 27" from a few years ago...
@@TheRevitKid thanks for the reply. I'm looking for 32" 4k and thought you might of found something that works well for colors.

Enscape vs lumion vs twinmotion vs unity....who win?
Depends on your work… all great programs. I, personally, use TM more because of the work I do.
Wonderful please tell them to not forget the Mac users pathtracer trace for Mac please this is all we or I ask for please 🙏
Haha you can tell them yourself!! 😜
🥰🥰🥰
it said that u can use under 8 g vram to enable path trace but it is not true.
