Electro Skull has anyone ever noticed that in the casino there is no way to enter the bar? As in there isn’t any sort of flap or gate to get it. How do the employees get behind the bar???
Technically the correct and most realistic setting should be 2-3. Any higher washes out the image and any lower makes the image too dark. However if its too dark for online, 6-8 might be better. Also make sure you play in a pitch black room for best results
@@lawrencechikowore9227 as if it isnt bad enough as it is when people put 'to' when it should be 'too', but you just done it the opposite way round by putting 'too' when it should be 'to' which is even worse because then you took the effort of adding in an extra character only to make it wrong...

The best brightness is 1/4 of the bar during nighttime and daytime which gives you much better graphics as well as decent visibility( you will get used to it) which makes the game very playable and nice
People don't like to play my games on the settings I have them on because they're too dark for them, but I can see just fine. I always try to keep the brightness down to a level where the colors actually look good, but not all the way because it's just way to dark. I just encourage keeping your brightness low enough that colors don't look flat out saturated, but high enough that you can see.
So little did I know I had my brightness up all the way and wondered why my game didnt look the best with ultra settings. after watching this and going into online I couldnt stop smiling at how nice it looked. Thank you so much!!
I am playing GTA 4 for the first time, and what i did is i put HUD and RADAR off, and put brightness on 0. (and lower contrast a bit as well). Its very fun to play this way. To navigate around the world i use the GPS sound in the car, and occasionally look at the map just like real life. Love it
@@tixav2 Yeah its great. I also use the most zoomed in camera on the car and in third person to make it a bit more realistic/harder. Also you got to remember which button on the keyboard is which gun, because you have no hud, and you got to be careful with your health (because you don't know how much health you have) but i love playing it this way. I turned hud/radar on for one mission and immediately turned it off again, way much more fun without it.
It totally depends on your monitor. Some people will see it better with no brightness some will see it better with MORE brightness. All monitors are different, that's why there are controls for things like brightness and contrast etc.
Everyone has i got into this brightness thing after i start playing ac3 im in rooftop in boston and realize its night time but only because i see the moon! then i lower brightness and it changes everything! i feel like im invisible to enemies and can sneak up and stuff the sky and moon light reflection on building and other objects look amazing. The brightness also makes the colors look very flat and dull.
For most games I value being able to see over graphics. If it is a dark game(night, dim lit buildings, etc.) I'm cranking up the brightness up a bit. If it is a bright game(day, lit up building, etc.) I might turn it down a bit, or leave it be. If the game has a daylight cycle(or go from light to dark areas frequently) I'll usually leave the brightness alone, or turn it up a bit if it is dark more often then bright. It also depends on the type of game. I'll only turn up the brightness in a horror game if you literally can't see anything without squinting constantly. If it is a FPS(COD, Halo, etc.)game I'll probably turn up the brightness just a bit, because visibility is more important than ambiance. The list goes on for games that I turn up, or leave the brightness as is, but I rarely ever turn down the brightness. If a game is unusually bright I'd turn it down, but otherwise I tend to like visibility, because a game looking better isn't going to matter if it hinders gameplay.
I had my brightness down for 2 years in GTA V and when I put it back on to full brightness It feels like open up your phone in the middle of the night with full brightness

Omg I thought I was the only one who does this lmao! I turn the brightness way down and turn my TV contrast all the way up and It looks like a completely different game and sometimes for the hell of it I turn my color all the way up to make dull colors pop out.I
You make the same mistake like those other guys who use Reshade on GTA5 or GTA4: You crank up the contrast by lowering the brightness and call this an "enhancement". Look, I understand that with a higher contrast, colors tend to pop more. And that's nice one time. But this what you're doing here is really not "more realistic", because that's just not how our eyes and perception works. We only struggle to see anything in darker regions when there really is no light to illuminate anything in the first place. Otherwise radiosity is illuminating the scene even a little bit - which our eyes tend to pick up after a while in dark regions. Our perception is logarythmic (kind of) and that means: In close proximity with lights in the vicinity there is never really anything truly pitch black. But in your example there, you are less than a feet away from an illuminating surface, while directly adjacent surfaces are completly dark. This is not realistic, because that''s just not how reality works - this situation might occur in photos or on film, but a game is neither of that and needs to simulate the realistic lighting of the real world as much as it can. Just saying. I really don't get why you guys think this would be "realistic" or "better looking", because it is factually the direct opposite of it. GTA5's standard calibration for contrast and brightness of colors is as close as it gets in terms of realism in a pallette that has only 255 color ranges and lacks a high dynamic range for the luma / chroma values. Everything that deviates from that even a little makes it unrealistic and either too dark or too cartoonish in color, light distribution and presentation. It's like with the Skyrim graphical overhaul dudes, who turn the darker areas pitch black. Especially at night, when you really can't see anything, even when you pull out a torch, and I keep wondering: Why would anyone believe that looks better or more realistic? You might feel that it looks subjectively better to you, but in reality: It's a false perception that has nothing to do with reality.
