Thank you for keeping this video up because I have used this video for both Christmas 2022 & 2023... It's very easy to folliw for making my bow topper!!❤
I am here because I refuse to spend 30 dollars on a topper plus i am not even sure if I am going to keep the same color scheme for next year. EITHER WAY THANK YOU!
Great video! Sent my daughters a pic of the bow I made after watching your video and they requested I send them the link! Thank you for demystifying bow making!!!
Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed!Dimensions, number of loops, etc! I also have a classroom tree with the red and black buffalo check print, and I was struggling with what to layer with. So this was super helpful. What are your favorite scissors, and how do you keep them sharp? What setting do you use to cut the puff vinyl? If I wanted to add a center loop, is there an easy way to do that to the topper?
Thank you for this helpful video. I wanted to use three different 2.5-inch ribbons, and your technique really worked well for my situation. You are so right to suggest zip ties for this style because the cinching needs to be very tight for fluffing purposes! I am so pleased with the results and now I have a very pretty bow for the top of my tree. Happy Holidays!!!
You're a life saver. I couldn't find a pre-made bow with tails long enough for a 15' tree (even on Etsy). You, a trip to Joann, and 4" wired ribbon saved the day today. THANK YOU!!! 😊 👏 👏 👏
Do you have a video of the whole tree? I’m also having trouble getting the ribbon out on the tree. To me it just doesn’t look pretty like others. Thanks for this video. Helps me tremendously!!
My first try and I didn't measure. Failed attempt. Had to cut the zip tie and intended to start over but once u make the slits that's it. I made it too short. It ended up looking like a ball. Lol so I decided to put it down and give up tonight. I'll try again tomorrow.
I'm not sure but it looks to be about 1 1/2 inches wide. As for yards, take 14" loop and multiply that 8 (how many times you fold it over). That's 112 and divide by 12 for feet. That's roughly 10 feet per ribbon color. My ribbon came from Hobby Lobby in a 30 foot roll. I don't to math well so my calculations could be off (not sure if it would be 8x14 or 16x14) 1 roll of each color should do it. Hope this helps!
I believe the reason it was cut was to allow the folds of the tied ribbon to hold their shape without folding in and creasing as much... not sure how to explain it otherwise😂
Not if it's decent quality thicker ribbon. You just cut it enough on each side to cinch the middle a little smaller than the loops. Only cut around 1/8" in on 2" to 2.5" ribbon.
Thank you so much for posting this. Your bow is gorgeous. Your instructions are 1000 times easier than the other ones out there.
Yes I agree ❤

I like how you go straight to the point. Thank you! Beautiful bow❤
I used this video to make my tree topper and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you for this super easy tutorial!
I love your music that you picked and your direction were excellent!
Sincerely...Thank you for showing us how to make a big bow...I would never have thought to fold over the ribbon to get the loops..AWESOME!

Same!

This was perfect! I cut mine a little too much in the middle but it still came out nice. Thank you

This is a very informative video and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. 😊
Awesome! Love how you used the ties! Makes it so much easier!!!

Oh boy you making it look easy I guess I can try my best 😩😂😂 this is actually the color and pattern I was looking to do my tree with this year
Beautiful!
Thank you very much! This is beautiful!
Thank you! This saved me so much money!
Thank you so much for the tutorial. It is so pleasing
Can’t believe I found a video for the topper with the same ribbon I want to use!
Same here! I had the red and black buffalo check and was wondering what to pair with it. It’s nice because I have the burlap, too!
Stunning! Thank you.
Width of ribbon used? Length of roll used?
I was wondering that too
Just used your video to make my tree topper AND I LOVE IT!! Thank you for this!
What a cute idea w the vinyl! Doing this! Blessings from Kansas 😊💕
Muy fácil de aser gracias excelente video👍❤
Could you use ribbons with different widths? For example 2 ribbons 2 1/2” wide and one ribbon 1 1/2” wide?
I'm wondering the same thing but I'm about to try it with three different widths
What if you don't have a pattern on each side?
What size do you think I should do for a skinny tree topper?
Beautiful, thank you for the tutorial
Do you make the slits because it won’t twist correctly without them?

Can I use 3 different widths?🤦🏻♀️😊
THANK YOU FOR SHARING!! ❤️
My ribbon doesn't have wire, can it still be used?
Hi! Thanks for the video. Have you ever shipped these? If so what size box and do you smash it down a little before shipping?
Cute! Thanks!
Where do you all get your heavy duty crafting scissors, because mine always fall apart?
Wonderful video, how do you recommend storing the bow topper?
Thanks 👍🏾
Can you tell me how many yards for each ribbons and is it a 2.5 inch? Thanks in advance!
Awesome. Thanks for the video
I just did this and my mom loves it

Doesn't cutting it weaken it? Wouldn't just the zip tie be better? How well have yours held up after a few years?
I believe the reason it was cut was to allow the folds of the tied ribbon to hold their shape without folding in and creasing as much... not sure how to explain it otherwise😂
@@yindivt6689 I tried it and it definitely needed to be cut if it was going to get the puffiness or just make a different type of bow.
Not if it's decent quality thicker ribbon. You just cut it enough on each side to cinch the middle a little smaller than the loops. Only cut around 1/8" in on 2" to 2.5" ribbon.
Ok help! What did I do wrong? I increased by length from 14" to 20" so the bow would be bigger, but it just looks like a pumpkin......
very helpful thank you!
Great tutorial! Thanks!
Thank you!
Beautiful
Great Video helped a lot
But i am not a DIYER LOL i think its WAY harder with thick ribbon
so cute
I loved it🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷❤️
awesome
Love it
What is the equipment you used for this with words?
Wired ribbon, zip ties, scissors
Probably a Cricut vinyl machine
@@aprilcawthon9715what type of ribbon because mine seems to be too thin!
What size ribbon do you use?
How many yards in total?
You made this look too easy lol
Nice instructions. Music was annoying and too loud.
