    Trying my hand at teas and light drinks. Wanted unique sweetners. Started with straw berry. Now im on to lemon. I love this method. No heating so bo destroying the flavor. I am trying a an experiment. Lemon no peel. Only peel. And lemon and peel.

      Hi.Tasmia. Thank you for watching my videos. It will stay a month without putting inside the fridge. But in our case, it will not last for 2 weeks, especially now it's a summer session here in California. Thanks again, friend. Keep in touch.

      You're not meant to eat it on its own. You add a little bit of this to something like tea to give it lemony sweetness.

      Hello scarpion Girl. It will last up to 1 to 3 months in the fridge, but if you properly sealed, you could store in a cool dry place up to a year. But this does not last long in our household, coz we always used this almost every day. Thank you for watching. See you later.

      Hello Aavani. It lasts for about 3 months in the fridge, and you can store this in your pantry for a month. But in my case it won't last a month me and my kids love to drink this, especially when it's cold. I like to drink this hot too before I go to sleep. Thank you. Have a great day.

    Can I weigh the lemons and sugar after slicing the lemons instead of doing it before slicing it?? Since you need to throw away the top and bottom, if we measure them before slicing, won't the sugar be a little more than lemon? Or does it not matter and it will turn out ok?

    • @monicazaharia7174

      No doubt you can . Is even better.

    • @wangnagene
      @wangnagene Рік тому +3

      The ratio doesn't need to be very precise so the first method works very well and is more simple. Your second method is more precise but it's not necessary. If you like to be this precise though, of course you can weigh it after !

      it's like most ingredients of cooking...being a little bit off, might not affect the taste for a lot of recipes.
      eg, if your mom pinches some salt, and you pinch some salt, and add it to the same recipe that you learned from her, it will be different pinches. but it still comes out just fine!

    How much water to 1 tablespoon of lemon syrup

    • @pershop4950
      @pershop4950 Рік тому

      many recipes use the idea of 8 oz of water for a typical drink, so you could start with 8 oz and if it's too sweet/too strong go to 12 or 16 oz, until you find the amount you like.

      Maybe you can use honey instead. Also I don't think a table spoon per day will hurt you. Diabetics still need a little sugar once in a while or else you blood sugar can drop too low.

      Thanks but alot of honey 🍯 out there is very fake, so I am awaiting from a family member to get the honey 🍯 from there bee 🐝 hives, then I try it then. Coz he give me honey 🍯 but I used it to ferment the garlic, red onions 🌰 and lemon 🍋.

  • @ceesparxxx

    Those lemons must be huge. Because even if they were 100 grams each (which is a pretty big lemon lol), you used 5 in total, which would be 500 grams. A cup of sugar is 200 grams, and it looks like you used 4 cups, which is 800 grams. So I'm assuming it doesn't matter too much if you add a little extra sugar lol. Besides, wouldn't that just make your drink a little sweeter anyways?
