My own scale-up consultancy has a lot of agency clients. I see 4 x main profit killers: 1. Over-Servicing 2. Under (or Poor) Utilisation (fee earners billing too low a % of their time in revenue) 3. Over-Hiring (usually a symptom of the first two) 4. Under--Charging (many agencies grossly under-charge, don't create peer-level relationships with their clients and lack the process or the correct mindset to be able to fix both of these).

The challenge is that the customer wants a fixed price and timeline for an end solution (SaaS platform development) while you can’t really estimate from the beginning all the work because of the uncertainties of such a complex project. You can define high level milestones but things not always go as planned. So my question is how can you define the project scope and should you actually spend so much time for each offer as there are many uncertainties during the software development?
Make it a smaller promise up front is the short answer. Likely phases of work can be packaged and scoped way better with clear expectations and deliverables.
Video Editing is too low 👎👎👎👎 Edit the video in a good style. Add nice b-roll animation when you are speaking or explaining something. This will increase visualization. Put proper subtitles, effects, transitions, and colors in the video. Insert the B-Roll (footage and animation) very well because it is absolutely low in your video. Do all this and then see how the video doesn't turn out good. 🫐
