This montage is likely to generate unrealistic expectations of what is available with many u3a organisations. Certainly where I am members cannot be persuaded for love nor money to even attempt to play a musical instrument, much less getting into a canoe. With one or two exceptions the u3a here offers primarily sedentary activities and it is disingenuous to illustrate otherwise.
We need something like this on National TV to promote ourselves and encourage new members. Marion Coleman
