IMO, Angelina was born with highly advanced musical intellect, intuition, instincts, feel and an ear for perfect pitch. She is a bona fide musical genius. No other female vocalist has touched my heart and soul like Angelina does. The sound of her voice hypnotizes and mesmerizes us. She pulls us in and makes us feel as though she is singing to us individually.
As far as I’m concerned, listening to Angelina sing is the best medicine in existence. I always feel rejuvenated after listening to Angelina.

After winning Norway Got Talent, Angelina was in very high demand. In an interview, her mother said that they had to reject more than 90% of the request for Angelina to participate in many events. However Angelina was very busy around this time. She travelled to Brazil around the middle of Nov. 2015 as part of the Norwegian delegation that was headed by Crown Prince Haakon. She performed in front of him and others at the opening ceremony of the new manufacturing facility of the Norwegian company Jotun. She also performed on a Brazilian TV show that was hosted by Fatima Bernardes. From there she flew to Doha, Qatar to attend and perform at the 3rd Ajyal Youth Film Festival that was held between Nov 29-Dec 4. About 500 youth between the ages of 8-21 screen different films and pick winners in different categories. Although Angelina performed at this festival, I’m not sure if she participated as a judge screening any films. Then she flew to Singapore to perform on Dec 8 at the opening ceremonies of the new headquarters of Mediacorp. The event that you just reacted to was at their state of the art 1500 seat theatre. By the time she was 16 she was a full adult vocalist. I recommend her 16 yo version of My Funny Valentine from 3 years ago. That song has been a favorite of mine for 50 years & I've heard all the versions by the legends from the past, but Angelina blew them all out of the water. When you watch videos of Angelina’s live performances, especially her concerts, you will come to realize that her audience is mostly comprised of fans aged forty years and up. The age range of her fan base includes people of all ages. She is a world renowned international super star, especially in Europe. IMO, it’s criminal that she isn’t getting the recognition she so rightfully deserves in this country. Not many American people have heard of her and that needs to change A.S.A.P.

Did Angelina play with dolls when she was young? If you want to hear Blues and jazz Angelina style, you should do a dual reaction. At age 12, in concert, she did James Brown's it's a man's world and killed it. Now, at age 19, she has done it at the El Rey California concert within the past several weeks. The growth is stunning and especially in the newer version, you can certainly hear Beth Hart within Angelina. For the more recent version, I would use the video by James Thiel.

Thank you, she was amazing here , but there is an open air performance of this song when she was 8 in Norway which is a much more reacted to ,my best version of this song by any one, yes I know Beth Heart, great , but AJ is just another league there has never been an artist that touches my heart like AJ , she has had this innate ability to feel everything she sings since a tot at a profound level . This performance is a gem of her early career that I had not heard before. Her voice sounds like that of a veteran performer in her mid-twenties. (And what a lovely run at the end.) If you want something from today, her entire EP "Old Enough" are all original songs by her. They are all spectacular and very diverse. My favorites are "Now I'm the Fool" and "Diamonds" which is the closer and where (I kid you not) she raps like a pro.

Jordan is 18 singing in the St James Cathedral in London, the acoustics are wonderful and you won’t recognize what a beautiful young lady she has metamorphosed into. Her beauty is only surpassed by her humanitarianism, having raised over 20 million dollars for children’s charities by the time she was 16, which started when she was 6 and gave the shoes off her feet to a homeless girl she met in the Middle East, who was weighing people for money to support her siblings, and promised that girl she would always perform onstage barefoot until all the poor children of the world had shoes. She has kept her word to this day and is the reason why her fans ( who are called Angels, at her request ) called her the Barefoot Princess. She taught herself how to sing by watching the jazz greats such as Billie Holliday, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington etc with her Grandma Mery on UA-cam, and started training her voice at about 3-5 years old 4-6 hours a day every day of the year. She attended an after school music program at the Waldorf School in Oslo, Norway, where Jordan was taught how to read, deconstruct and rearrange music, and to play the piano and the guitar. She has always sung in English and there is even a video of her singing “I Will Always Love You” in bed at 1 1/2 years old holding a microphone! She obviously was born with innate talents, was educated properly and also works extremely hard, something she is rarely given credit for. I hope this background helps you understand how Jordan can seemingly do impossible things with her voice at such a young age. It’s a combination of talent, love, education, drive and hard work. A lot of people say she makes singing look so easy, yeah, she works really really hard to make it look so easy lol!
I really enjoy seeing new reactors such as yourself become infatuated with young Jordan, because what she can do with those vocal cords and breath control as a child is nothing compared to what she can do as a late teenager, and God knows what she’ll be capable of in her middle twenties!

Any interpretation of Angelina is a story in itself, whether it's a cover or an original doesn't change.
Being an all-round artist she often reinterprets other songwriters' songs in a substantial way and a prime example is suspicious minds by elvis.
In the songs that she writes you go through a whole world of unique and different sensations, I don't know how to explain it, but it's like a kind of magic or witchcraft that takes you in and leaves you mute to listen.

For me her most beautiful song she sang Unchained Melody for the Nobel Peace Prize. It is a higher level of serious singing as part of a full orchestra. Yes her voice has matured beautifully.
