Nice review for a new rider. Well done. To be more blunt about the FXLRS - beautiful style, great motor, very good front brakes, corners wonderfully, terrible rear brake, and rider position is worse than any bike I’ve ridden in 50 years.
Thank you! I was very disappointed in the peg height and resulting issues it led to my position on the bike. I’d like to ride it with forward controls. But at that point I question why I would get a FXLRS.
No electronic ride modes, just the six gears. Yes you can change up the foot controls to different types including moving them forward, which I would need to be comfortable. Stock Foot control height best suited for those of a shorter stature.
None. Most add a swing arm bag, if you add a 6-10” riser a handlebar bag can fit. Other luggage accessories exist as well. Check the HD website, saddlemen dot com, leather.pros, Viking bags offer options
Odd too, since it was on back order for most of 2022. They did up the msrp and increased the surcharge for the current models so you likely saved money.
It should be no more than $19,649.00 plus tax, tag and title. Though locally when I speak to sales people and see the types of ads that are running on promotions, sales are clearly down, so the longer you can wait until December the better.
Is that price out the door or before tax title and fees? I test rode one today and they wanted 28k otd. It had a full exhaust on it as well but I still think they were trying to take me for a ride; obviously I didn't purchase it
I think it’s a completely different set up on the same frame. The Fatboy is low slung, a feet down and forward stance for primarily straight line cruising. The Low Rider S can be fun equally on a twisty road as a straight road. Both have bad ass vibes. If you can demo both you’ll see clearly the differences and which one matches your vibe.
Stay with the evolution powered Harleys take care of both said they were both last forever ♾️ they still have it sorted out the mechanical problems with the milwaukee-eight or the revolution Max they just don't talk about them too much anymore.
One unique traction control setting per mode that coincides with the ABS, turn ABS off no more traction control. Also there are two custom modes that allow you to customize the 4 settings that make up a mode, ABS sensitivity, throttle response, engine braking, throttle control.
Maybe? I don’t have ABS on my bikes and have experienced some rear wheel skids when down shifting, but I get your point all the competitive options include ABS, perhaps selectable ABS would be best.
Something I has a 21 that bike rips and I mint have locked up a few times without it. But knowing I had it I was pushing it a bit more than I would have without abs
I’m about to buy one of these, I’m not going to lie I wasn’t a fan of Harley Davidson, but a couple years back I seen a low rider s and thought it looked badass. My last bike was a 06 R1 w PCV yosh duals blah blah. I’m 45 years young. I need a 2 up seat and pass pegs should I get that added on loan and have dealer instal? I’m calling dealer back within 1 hour please help
If you’re not mechanically inclined then yes have the dealer do it both tasks should take within one hours time so labor will be minimal. If you go with HD pegs and seat you’ll need to choose those part numbers and supply them so they know what to add to your loan or buy sheet. If you decide on third party brands then you might need to get that quoted for pricing and then wait for the material to arrive which will come likely after you take acceptance of the bike. 15 minute response time on your question, how’s that?
I got this bike last Friday my dream bike and don’t want nothing else..I’m coming from a 18 Iron 1200..ride safe! 🤘🏽
Congratulations, that’s awesome!
@@KennyQuestShow thanks man 👊🏽

@ThELaStRiD3R thanks man
How long were you on the Iron 1200?
Picked up my sand white pearl yesterday, upgrade from a XL883 from 02. Holy shit I'm so pleased with this bike! A blast to ride!
That’s awesome! It is blast to ride! Check out those two custom ride mode presets at some point. Enjoy!
I just got my 23 lowrider s white sand pearl yesterday... I kept my 22 sportster 883 but big difference.
@@justingillis6150 that’s awesome, I’m so stoked for you! Keep that sporty, like you said it’s a different ride, all smiles per mile. Ride safe!

Is there any storage on this bike under the seat or anywhere ?

So pissed they decided to add the cruise control this year. I just bought it for my 22'

I wonder how much the dealer will want for this bike?

I just bought a 2023 lowrider S on 2/28 after taxes extended warranty maintenance plan 21k

No issues with either engine wise so i am inclined to agree with your wisdom
Well Done.
Thank you Tobias 🙌🏼
Traction control?

@@gianlucamadonna4817 you are welcome, thanks for watching.
Should be speedo anologue and revs digital
They at least should give us a option in the parts catalog!
For a sportier bike I like the big tacho setup.

Thanks for watching Phil!
Abs should be standard. Period.
Agreed.
When you come up to North Georgia you scrape your floorboards easily.

I can believe they are charging for abs.. that bike needs abs
