Sometimes I just love watching home videos or just film from 1950s. I love seeing how life looked and thinking about who's still living and who has died. Really fascinates me.
Exactly what I think when I see old footage of stuff, the animals, people, everything long gone and forgotten like it never existed. It’s weird to think everything that’s happening right now as you read this will end up exactly the same in years and years.
The suburban in front of the zoo is a 1962. The tan chevy at the first is no older than a 1960. Assuming the suburban is brand new I place this video at around the summer of 1962. Great video
Just imagine what all the elderly people in this video must have gone through during their lifetime and what they saw and what the country was like! This was when people had respect for the president the media told the truth somewhat and people loved this country and hated traitors And dealt with them with extreme prejudice And people were kind to one another and there were no cell phones or internet so the only way people got their news was either the radio or by talking to other folks which brought the community together at the same time 180° out from what it's like today nobody talks are too busy on their phones the internet although did some good ruined people at the same time, This was when cars were built great and road trips were a thing and camping.... 😭

It's sad seeing all those elderly adults and knowing they're long, long gone now

At least they didn't have to see their world implode like us.
In home video footage taken during the 1950s, the house at 2:10 has the address 1950. What a coincidence!
Thought the same thing!

This is such a beautiful video.
I keep crying.
At that time, people were breathing much cleaner air than now.
Why does the god of heaven make us hard?
Hard times create strong men.
Strong men create good times.
Good times create weak men.
Weak men create hard times.
embrace it.
