One of the first Sausage Dog machine, from January 2016.
It´s been working here for 7 years and these 7 years thousands of PCBs were cleand here.
It's very user-friendly for the maintenance team as well as the operators who are in no contact with cleaning or rinsing agents.
This is achieved, especially thanks to the features of automatic discharge and refill.
Whenever we came across any technical issue, the support was immediate
and DCT team fixed all the issues within a couple of days or even on the very same day.
I don't remember a longer downtime than 48 hours since the installation.
The key advantage of this machine is surely the dual-chamber solution
that minimizes the cross-contamination between chemical and DI water.
Also, we can wash two PCBA carriers at once, which cuts down the processing time needed for each board.
During the drying stage, I'm already preparing another carrier to be cleaned.
After the cleaning process, it automatically transfers to the rinsing and drying chamber.
This makes the overall throughput 25 % higher or more.
The PCBA carrier is fairly large and can accommodate a lot of boards of all various sizes.
Every carrier can look completely different.
You can have two large PCBAs or tens of smaller ones.
This is very important for our high mix production as we can cover all types of products from extra large PCBAs up to micro boards.
