Today the United States, Russia, China, the United Kingdom, France, India, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea have nuclear capabilities. Iran is the only know to pursue. But in the 1980's the world had many more nuclear warheads than today, many times over. Will the world end its nuclear programmes soon?
