If length of a rectangle is decreased by 33.33%. By what percent it breadth should be increased so that area does not change .

It will be roughly around 49.99%
The formula is (100 x r)/(100-r) so the answer is (100 x 33.33)/(100-33.33) = 49.99(ans).
suppose the question is like length of rectangle increasing 33.33%,then formula is (100 x 33.33)/(100+33.33)

33.33% = 1/3
1 /n+1 decrease= 1/n increase
So 1/3 = 1/2
1/2 = 50%
