As an INFJ with a really good handle on my emotions, I find that my answer is to remember the difference between an emotion and the physical manifestation accompanying. The former is an idea; the latter is physical. So, feel it, acknowledge it , and carry on.
It is gradual.. when u r surrounded by toxic people n can't get out, u just can't help it.. a door slam here, a grey rocking there.. on n on for years.. now it's just like an automaton, hardly feel anything anymore
