Out of all of the Henry the IV part I Joan of Arc monologues I've come across on UA-cam, yours is my favorite. Beautifully done!

Excuse me, do you think the portrayal of Joan of Arc by William Shakespeare is right and fair?(of course, I think you don't think she was really a witch like the portrayal.)
though Shakespeare is a great author still, and he was an English man at that time, however, In the view of modern and feminism, his portrayal about Joan of Arc was very misogynistic.

Shakespeare has so many amazing, strong, intelligent female characters that one can never accuse him of mysogyny.
But, I guess Joan was portrayed as more of a witch because she was French and caused England to lose possessions in France. At the time England was ruled by Henry 6- ancestor of Queen Elizabeth I. So, naturally Sh presents the English to be in the right. He does the Yorkists a bit dirty as well. It was probably the requirement of the day.
Still, his works are so amazing and his characters are so complex that they are never bad or good, they are always well rounded.
