Nope, Marowak does not go well in this. Fossil line with Kabutops can straight up stall people out and because the base is a fossil card you're guaranteed Mankey on turn 1. You might think the possibility of 160 dmg off two flips is nice for bulkier opponents, but relying on rng once they have their board setup with a stage 3 is almost always a feelsbad moment.
