I was looking for some Alutech window on bimobject and there was only revit file, nothing for Archicad. Is there a possibility to make archicad object from that?
You can adjust the Level of Detail in the Model View Options. The problem then is, that the Level of Detail of the default windows would be less detailled using the same model view option combination. So you have to try to use only windows/doors/curtain walls from one company. Then it would be fine.
Very good and beneficial tutorials, thank you so much , but the fact that your making English tutorials with german version of archicad and windows are little bit a problem. Again thank you so much.
I only need doors and windows as for furniture i prefer using 2d furniture. Anyway do u have any well done full section image that you wouldn't mind sharing?
Hey man help me out with line weights im struggling to make my window sections look profiled like yours without True line weights they look too lean and when i activate true line weights the section becomes messy and clustered check this out the links of images; imgur.com/yYtf2Ii and the second one; imgur.com/eD6VixR
Have you actually used schuco windows in a real project? I have and I can say that they are far from perfect. You are very limited by the few configurations that they give you in spite the fact that the actual windows are much more flexible in real life.
I have planned Schüco-Windows very often and I built in them by myself a lot more often. During my time of studies and before that I was working as an metalworker in my freetime. I know that the windows and curtain-walls offer more orptions in real-life, but I never had trouble with the lcf-objects in Archicad. There are a lot of alternatives on bimobject.com. Maybe you find another window-company, which is able to give you, what you want to see in Archicad.
1. Wieso ist eine einschichtige Ziegelwand keine BIM-Wand? 2.

Nice. But we have to discuss about LOG and LOI of the BIM objects...

QreativeHome Actually the alternatives are even worse. I can only hope that they will get better in the future.
