A group of us listen to your rich Biblical teachings in Romans each week, read commentaries, listen to other teachers, then discuss the the passage we are up together. Your depth of content is always so helpful. May I humbly suggest a different picture for the ‘heap burning coals’? If a persons fire went out, they went to their neighbours for coals and carried them in a brazier on their head. If they traveled from home to a pasture with their flock, they took burning coals from home in a brazier on their head. People could add to their burning coals to ensure their coals didn’t go out. This pictures makes much more sense in the Proverbs and now Paul’s letter, don’t you think? It’s a picture of loving care to an enemy when they need help. We are very grateful for your in-depth teachings. Jennie

Catholic Priest do not teach they bask in the freedom themselves and leave the congregation empty. They do not marry and cannot relate with parenthood. They have a Mary altar which is unscriptural. They are guilty of a lot of crimes. They killed a lot of other Christians who were not like them. They do not believe in the restoration of the Jews and many more. The Catholics gave us a lot of good things also of which I am thankful. I am happy to have Pastor Skipp teaching us scripture fearlessly. Hi! While Pastor Skip does not have a set Bible version. Most often Pastor Skip will use the New King James Version (NKJV).
