      @@stevecooper3010 Hi Steve! We did some research and determined that AutoCAD doesn’t have “Annotative” tables. However, AutoCAD has four functions that provide a similar solution: “Download from Source”, “Upload to Source”, “Extract Data”, and “Link Data”. These options can be found in the “Annotate” tab of our Ribbon and are in the “Tables” panel. Once we create a “Data Link”, we can pull information from a spreadsheet and populate our table automatically. We’ll create a tutorial for this very soon, please subscribe to our page and turn on notifications to be notified of the latest videos!

    I failed to do the xl link, because I can't find out how to save the xl file in 2003,2007,2010 format.

      We created a tutorial that focusses on linking your data into Excel:
      ua-cam.com/video/z0iC_KSZbBU/v-deo.html
      At 0:59, when you're in the "Save As" dialogue, you can click on the drop-down to the right of "Files of type" and see that the "XLS" and "XLSX" file formats are available. Excel 2003 uses the XLS format, and Excel 2007, 2010, and beyond use both the XLS and XLSX formats.

    I'm trying to use match cell for formatting a new cell and I can't get it to work. Any suggestions?

      After selecting a cell in a table and using "Match Cell", you should be able to select other cells that have different formatting. This includes text alignment, font size, and font type. The content in the cell itself won't change. This is explained at 7:14 in the video.

    can we link a table in autocad to MS access data base?

    • @DigitalDraftingSystems
      @DigitalDraftingSystems  2 роки тому

      Hello. This should be possible using the dbConnect Manager, find more info here: knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2021/ENU/AutoCAD-Core/files/GUID-8374B198-C4F9-485B-8062-8996D8571304-htm.html
      Additionally, we found some related information by searching for "Database Connectivity in AutoCAD".
      We hope this helps.

    How can we customize tables in Sheet Set Manager?

    • @DigitalDraftingSystems
      @DigitalDraftingSystems  8 місяців тому +1

      After creating a Sheet Set and opening one of the files in the Sheet Set, we can open its layout (This won’t work in Model Space). Then, when we right-click on the title for the Sheet Set, the option “Insert Sheet List Table” will not be greyed out. After selecting it, the “Sheet List Table” dialogue opens. To customize the table, we can select the icon with three dots to the right of whichever “Table Style name” is selected on the upper-left side. Then, we can select an existing “Tablestyle” or select “Modify”. This brings up the same settings that we covered in this tutorial for customizing a table.

      @DigitalDraftingSystems that's for the response. I figured it out. Is there a way to set up underline text in the settings? I looked all over and did not see an option for it. It can only be done manually after the table is completed by selecting the cell.
