Lethal Company: Quick Guide to Being The Camera Operator

- Hello guys, today I'm going to cover how to be the camera operator in Lethal Company. I will give a general run down of what you need to do. In the Future I will make a more advanced guide on camera operations.
In Lethal Company you will usually play co-op with 2-4 players. When doing so it's best to have at least one person remain with the ship to help stay alive. The Ship operator aka Camera Operator will watch the team on the camera and perform task for them like opening doors or shutting down turrets. Call outs to your team are important they will need to know if a coil head is approaching or if they're going to step on a land mine.
While watching over the ship you'll need to be on the lookout for giants or blind dogs. Giants although harmless if you're in the ship will be good information for your team to have when they're returning back.
Blind dogs however are reactive to noise and can enter the ship and kill you if you're not careful. You have tools to avoid this. You can shut the door on them or just straight up leave with the loot if your team is dead.

This strat is pretty good for beginners, but i've found a much better way to do it. Using Macros! When using the terminal, using the command 'view monitor' makes it so that youh can see what is on the main monitor. Once you have that up, if you assign a button on your keyboard or mouse to the macro 'switch player (enter/return button)' this makes it just as easy to switch between the players. The while the players are moving you can be typing in codes on the run. If you're holding the radio before you enter the terminal, you can use it while looking at the termial by just left clicking as usual.
Especially with the new update out it makes it much easier to use the signal translator on the go as well.

Hey, I appreciate that!!! I'll defiantly try it out and see how I like it. I usually try and gear my guides to people just picking up the game or first few days!
I do plan on a advanced guide and this would defiantly be something to add to it.
You dont even really need macros, you can just type switch into google, copy it and then hit control v and enter to almost instantly swap. Slower than a macro but much less setup.
what macro program do you use?

I briefed my friend how we would do the radio correspondence!
I would stay quiet only if there's loot, and if there are no monsters around.
I would say left, right, front, back if I saw a monster around him.
If there are no loots to where he and my crew is going.. I would tell them "skip".
I would say "care" if there's loot and there's a monster.
For when they're backtracking... I tell him "yes" or "no" if he's heading the direct way...
For when there's a fire exit... I tell him "fire" or "fire nearby"...
I had to try adjust myself whenever my friend dies and the others took control of his radio!

Lol, it happens to me from time to time. I've watched my team walk in on their doom because I can't communicate it to them XD.
