Nothing like what you say... AnilKapoor also does his gym etc to stay fit... comparisons of this kind are odious (since both are filmy... both can be called promoters of fakery)... AnilKapoor at least does his job and stays somewhat grounded... not talk about all and sundry... making very loser sort of caste related talk...including RSS... like this guy is doing and that too with a person like the one he is talking to arrrrggh! god knows if he is even stating the truth...
Therefore... from a very distant outsider point of view.... I would rate AKapoor as a much lesser fake person...in this rating...

I think Scouts and Guides should be dissolved and merged into RSS. As Milind has clearly said his RSS childhood experience was like Desi Scouts.
Desi scouts are more efficient and disciplined than scouts. Certainly admire Desi scouts and there social services in floods, famines and various problems when public needed them and these Desi scoutwalas were very much there.Hats off to them. It could be only if you remove religious angle from it. RSS should accept that all religions practiced in India are all equal. It should denounce Golwalkar's statement when he said all those whose Punya Bhoomi is not in India should leave India.
Milind just gave me the impression that he is sorted in his thought, opinion and is soo completely honest. I am a big fan of his attitude and dedication to sport and fitness, his looks... lets not even go there ;) A very genuine man, respectful, to the point answers to Barkha's questions. And I daresay, I thought Barkha was blushing on More than a few occasions!

Omg , this made me realise that I should find the nearest shakha near me and get my kids enrolled. Discipline, indipendent, sports and confidence sounds very right 😊 I would love my kids to be confident Hindu Bhartiya!

What is wrong is nothing the problem is The technology changes around the world we see nowadays are seeing everything today We have not really changed our thinking in the last 5000 years And intellectuals are engaged in this, true intellectuals were engaged in Hindu culture, how to understand it anyway, but it seems impossible now
Milind has given a real picture of RSS, i got my primary education from a RSS school "saraswati vidya mandir" and it's all about disciplines, values, moral and being a good human being.. and it's from 1999 to 2008 and it was not political then and I think it still teaches values, disciplines, and moral today.
I see this guy most days. Comes out as very aware and genuine
I think there would be very few people with the capacity and wisdom to say "I have no advice for you; go and make your own mistakes".
I absolutely support this thought with one important caveat and that is that one does need a supervision from an elder or a guru, to make sure one doesn't make a serious mistake or amplify his/her mistake, to have irreversible damage - much like a parent teaching a kid how to ride a bicycle; allowing him/her to make a mistake and disbalance but also to be in the side to make sure he/she doesn't fall off completely.
I used to be a swimmer from Mumbai who swam in the 90s and 2000s, a generation after Milind. We have heard about his workouts. Our coaches used to tell us how fanatic he was about swimming. He was and still is an exceptional talent.
I would have loved to hear more about his struggle and journey during these years rather than the constant focus on drugs and women. He was such a huge source of inspiration for us ordinary swimmers. I would say barkha lost a grest opportunity to draw him on this. He was trying to get to it when he said he swam 63 kilomters a week. Alas such is the nature of media

Some are just there for discipline and Hindu pride.
And the third is extreme kind. As a philosophy RSS is about india and Hindu ethos. Islam practitioners who can be truly secular are welcome to RSS.

I became a die hard admirer of Milind after watching the repeat telecast of Captain Vyom on SAB tv when I was in 10th class(already watched the original on Doordarshan in 7th or 8th) - First I became almost crazy for the show, then the character, the hero Captain Vyom, and then it slowly transformed into a craziness for the person itself, as I progressed onto 11th class.
I was deeply infatuated and probably fell in love with a girl, in 11th, and I still remember that my sister said to me that until that happened she had doubts about me being gay because of so much craziness about Milind.
Nostalgia had probably a considerable part in that as I longed for my past years(in which coincidentally the original telecast was made), and MIlind was also a famed celebrity(with a declining status, synonymous with my life) of that time and those years, for which I longed. Also, I didn't watch all the episodes and wasn't able to appreciate well the tv series during original telecast.
This man is so underrated. Indians actually never really deserved him, especially that toxic filled with nepotism film industry.

Barkha asks him this about many things.."how did this change your life". His answer is consistently "not much" :-D And that's because of what he mentions earlier on in the chat... "I know what I want from life" and "I've always held on to my peace of mind" and "I dont live my life based on past but based on what opportunities the future holds". Way to live a life :-)

I see that there are two instances where I have extreme similarity with his thoughts and opinion:
12:15 - I felt exactly the same way from my childhood till 25!
I also totally share his thoughts and fears regarding sickness and ageing.
When at 11.50 mins u hear the Indian coach couldn't handle Milind been close to Foreign coach, as his ego is hurt.. this just creates a spark that it's so true. We need just cannot handle any body's rise. It sucks so much. Don't know barring few aspect why. We have learnt to be civil.. this is called bloody Indianness. I see this all the time. The man who suppose to be a team leaders sits on balloon of ego!! Still we are great country all good with us !!! Sad!!!
