Why im watching this?
😂.I was thinking the same.....😂
i was thinking the same
is it a power line?
@@Thetreetroll no , its for internet
Because its important
if you can't fix something with a tape, it means your not using enough tape
Or simply the wrong tape, there's the right tape for everybody in every situation 😂

This is not a coupling so this is a taping set)
Thanks, now I can repair my iPad charger.
You will need more tape
Well said.
youtubes video recommendations gets weirder and weirder...
and here I am watching every thing.
yes WHY did i watch the WHOLE thing is what im wondering
Same thing man.
So what shall we watch next?
Well it was kind'a fascinating to watch no? Now you know how to do the job if you ever find yourself in the position.
The robots fuck with us and having a laugh!
I'm satisfied that he has neatly completed the job
That joint should last hundreds of years.
Supper Cable jointing Supper insulating and good finishing
Congratulations
I have an exam tomorrow, and this is how I waste my time
if you fail your exams the skills you learn from this video might come in handy on the factory floor. Good luck though, stay in school.
Well how was your exam then? 😂🤗
shit, i though that i am the only one doing that :D
My lady waits while I must finish this video. What's wrong with me?
I have one today, but no one cares =))
i will never have to do this but now i know how. totally worth the 18 minutes of my life
Store: How much tape do you need?
This cable guy: yes
i guess I should switch over to the A380 landing guide, my change is higher to get into that situation than extending some 24kv cables.
...and then you remember you forgot to put the cover sleeve on first
oh no, dont say it, i have done it too many times with the rubber sleeves when soldering XD
I followed the instructions, but now I'm out of tape!
Help, I need more tape!! And it's starting to rain... :-(
Set up a tent👍
4:12 Gets the worlds largest comedy scissors out
Very difficult way to make a joint. In my time we just used Rizla.
hahahaahahah :D
WOW! My arms will be strong after a couple of those jobs!
Very good. Much better than reading the manual
Don't know why this was in my view, but it was quite fascinating.
thank you so much, very informative video.
I was searching for tips to repair the charging cable of my Samsung mobile.....
Now I can do it😆😆😆
TRÊN CẢ TUYỆT VỜI
This guy is going to wrap my christmas presents from now on
Yeah..Unfortunately, it might take you up till summer to open up all you presents... :-)
Exactly the video I was looking for... how to splice 24kV cables...
For all you dumb people and non electrical engineers or electrician, the 3M video some people are stating that has a faster repair is not even the same cable. This one has different shielding, different layers, different thickness. This to me appears to be properly done and went above and beyond to make a resin outer shield.
Thumbs up for writing Millimeter correctly as „mm“ :-) All other asians do that wrong
i can't believe they are not crimping the conductors together with hydraulic hand crimpers.4 bolts on each connection looks like technology from the past.
We did joints under heavy rain and trench full of water at same time. And energized successfully 😁. It takes skills and experience.
But will it keep working for 20,or 30 or more years?
@@asbestosfiber Depends on the environment first, Jointer skills and finally the Joint quality its self.
Congrats F A, you just doomed a very expensive asset to fail to reach its full economical life of 40-50 years. Especially on modern cables water ingress is the worst thing for the insulation and should be absolutely avoided. Before energizing you should also do a sheath test and a VLF test at three times operating voltage.
@@bobbwc7011 if no water comes inside. There won't be an issue. However, you have to consider the environment. For example our trenches (soil) is usually full of water since our country is basically an island. Therefore, Pilc joints live longer than Xlpe joints.
Kkkkk
Eu vim por causa da quarentena kkkkkk
fantastic work, good job, this is an expensive tuto
This is how I feel when I'm plugging in a few extra devices behind the TV.
I love how they tell you that this should be done by a competent person LOL
It's called millimeter, not 'MM". And these things you called semiconductors, they are insulators!
THANK YOU
Yea Mate, I was freaking out where he started saying "M M"
At 9:55 he left some of the connector exposed when wrapping the first layer of semiconductor tape over the first splice.
Nice catch.
great lifehack, now i can charge my phone wherever i am
That's one helluva sound system hes hooking up LOL😁😁
All well and good jointing indoor. Try all that when there are pipes ducts and crap in the hole you’re working in. All that room and the cables are not straight and the joint is like a banana.
thanks for nice video my
channel starts to grow, it inspired me to make more video
24kv cellpack, was hoping for an experiment with 6000 lithium ion cells strapped in series in the good name of science. Chapter 3 was long winded, wasn't it? These bolts snap off when proper torque is applied.

Sooopr work. And soopr cable
Next time I will use this wire for wiring in my house😎
lol
I thought it was an edited picture in the thumb, small wire with a dude pasted behind it. NOPE BIG OLE CABLE
OK thats a lot of work to do before you put cable in the ground..
4:35 when you dont know what you read :)) , millimeter
So this is what it takes to wire Gulliver's house for electricity.
WAW..... happy new year 2020 guys ❤️👍🏻👌🏻
It called millimeter!
Good job
Nice 👍👌
Omg 😮 That’s a big cable !!!
always wondered how to do this.
10:47 That took dam time for sure..
Mind. Blown!
I have an exam tomorrow, and this is how I waste my time.. exactly like the previous semester..
What a cable joint surgery!
Sehr interessant. Jetzt verstehe ich besser, warum so etwas so lange dauert.
thank you. very useful.
Take a shot every time he says emem.
imagine using this whole tape and in 12:15 realise that you forgot to put these copper sleeves.. Shiit

JABAN Number One
Doesn't look happy the dude...smile!
Is this what hooks up to the long and purple rubber thing in my moms drawer?
I guess he find it easy to say mm than millimetres
very delicate. i think i can do it. where can i do this for fun ?
That was sad'' no duct tape!
this seems like a very long process and can be prone to mistakes for something that can be easier done
This dude is PPE to the max. 3:35 where are your cut proof gloves? Hu
Ya, this is your training video.... Real world -> Oh my gosh someone dug our wire up, get out there and fix it. Here's a shovel and wheelbarrow. We will send a tractor out when you are almost done with the hole. Oh don't forget that it is going to flash flood right about the time you are done digging. Good Luck! Oh just so you know, we had knucklehead from accounting turn off the power so you have nothing to worry about!
Una súper explicación....
totally irrelevant information feels so gooooood
wrapping heaven
Why is this in my recommendation
THANKS FOR THE DEMOSTRATION SIR
Thank you brother
Tape, tape and more electrical tape...
what happened with the gloves?
I like watching this.
do NOT cut XLPE insolation 7:11 you see a clear cut in it ... GG
So as someone watching this not knowing what this is for. Is this for energy transfer? Like how you'd splice a cable to carry a current further based off amplification of the energy being transfered? Like and EDFA?
Cellpack very nice
WoaaW
So that's how I'll need to wire my truck sound system
